Just FYI that site you found may be legit, but it’s less than 6 months old and hasn’t established legitimacy by the standards used by some credit card companies, so some people’s credit cards will reject the transaction.

I have the 5 piece Matco magnetic spark plug socket set,Gets used a lot and been worth every penny.The 9/16 and the 13/16,I never used yet.The 9/16 is used for the 3 valve 5.4 Fords.Don't use brake clean in the socket area,disolves the glue holding the magnet in

I purchased a single 4” wobble gearwrench 5/8” magnetic spark plug socket a few years back for a project and I can not imagine not using it anymore. I came across a 6” duralast 13/16” at a pawn shop and grabbed it for $5. I have been looking at the gearwrench set for awhile. Thanks. Still waiting on those ratchet reviews 🤔

One way I get around the extension yank, I use my locking extensions. No longer do I pull out the extension with no plug. Works every time

Great video thanks brother. I am looking for a good set. I am done with the rubber grommet ones. The way they have the new plugs set down in. I have the problem of the grommet coming out of the socket. I think it's just that time to upgrade to the new generation of magnetic spark plug sockets. A buddy of mine had that set and I've always wanted to pick up the gearwrench one. Never got around to it but I probably will since I've been doing a lot of plugs on transverse 6s.

nice set, I got the same set but a differnt brand name for $45, on sale. I am not a car guy but do work on if I can.

Where is this set made? It’s on the Matco website but doesn’t say where it’s made(I can’t find it). I was looking at the Gearwrench set but if this set is made in the USA I don’t mind paying the extra.
This set is not made in the USA. Many companies sell this exact same set for much much less.

Hey thanks for watching 13/16 is not as common anymore unless you work on alot of older cars. Most companies have moved away from 13/16

2:24... I switched to only magnetic for this reason.... On an Ecotec.... what a pain in the ass....Lol. ...I have the Gearwrench 6" long 5/8" magnetic that is exactly like those... blue gel and all...I think it was $12-$15 ...

That’s the Gearwrench brand just rebranded.
Alphonsus Jr Quitoriano yes both of them are made by the same company. That’s why I always suggest to people if they are going to buy something Matco. Make sure Gearwrench doesn’t have it for cheaper first
TonyTheTechnician I always look at Gearwrench before buying off Matco cause they are both made through apex tools. Matco also use Sunex tools also and rebrand them also. I have the Sunex 34 piece quick change bit set with the red blow molded case and Matco has the same exact casing and bits and the front sticker says Matco.
Alphonsus Jr Quitoriano ya Matco mainly uses the same as Gearwrench for a lot of the tools but ya they use a lot of others as well. I’m glad you do your research 👍🏻
