For a 2006 game, this is pretty impressive in terms of visual and gameplay. Sega made another masterpiece. Sadly, they only release it digitally for home consoles and the game delisted eventually.
This game is epic and graphics are GORGEOUS. This is where the old slogan really comes into truth: "It takes AGES to be this good, to be this good takes SEGA!"
Actually quite a few are missing. The Lindbergh was also used for other games. Mostly heavily Japanese influenced games that would have no chance of making it to the US.
I KNEW something seemed "double entendre" about the title. It's just next door to a quip before the big battle in "Top Gun I" (air cover for a sea rescue in unfriendly waters) Wolfman knows the other side's about to attack by dint of an erection (built-in radar?)
Haha. Well the problem 75%+ of the time is the graphics card, which isn't that hard to replace. Now if it was the motherboard or the JVS card, you are pretty much screwed.
yea lol its a nvidia 500 series thats powering it amazing :) ? yea i had that at my local arcade there was a deluxe house of the dead 4 there and it constantly froze /hang on attract mode after a fw hours of boot up im guessing that sort of issue is the motherboard and the jvs card frazzling over if it was gfx card screwing up youd notice like when strange glitches and graphical artifacts start appearing :/ :( it was removed cause of the issue too expensive to repair they said... sob :(
truely a beautiaful lindy game :) i played it today at my local its been there for 3 years and is starting to die a bit :l the gfx start warping all over the 3d models the scenery has pieces missing and it occasionally freezes, :l i hope that deosnt happen with your lindy machine make sure its super airconditioned and has a good fan intake :)
The GPU concern you mentioned reminded me about one my coding experiments failing horribly, distorting the "space plane" model. It wasn't programming goofs but likely the limits/beginning of failure of the GPU in that computer (a Chromebook from 2018).

I never really played this game when it was in arcades, but I’ll always remember the title card and the sega logo. So nostalgic
