My only advice after over a yr with this luggage system is to check the attachment straps regularly when travelling ... especially when going off road ,this is the only negative part of this system . twice I have lost straps when travelling off road ,, I have solved this problem now by using small zip ties to lock and stop the straps from coming unattached .
cheer for that thaiger, I know you can buy kriega straps that actually fix by removing a bolt on the bike, maybe worth seeing if you can get these in Thailand, but I'm sure they are mega bucks, but thanks for the tip
Yep I used to ride fully loaded, it does affect the handling for sure, it's good to ride the bike as is, to get the feel of how it should be, the weight should be forward and low so as not to affect the bike, this explains it good ua-cam.com/video/OWnhCjYgsDw/v-deo.html
yep great value, mine are still going strong, no issues, I will do another review when they get older, say a year or so and see how they hold out, rhinowalk are supposed to be bringing out a backpack, be interesting to see that, as I like the kriega T9, thanks for your comment and appreciate your time watching, ride safe
I have ridden with Rhinowalk for some time and love them. As for your pannier mounts Rhinowalk makes a set of soft sided luggage you can mount up. Probably a good solution for you. I wish Rhinowalk made a Kriega 25l backpack clone
My bags don't need the racks, they fit just right on the back, love it as the luggage does not stick out passed the width of the handle bars, filtering and off road is much easy, the bike rides how it should, as with the big pannier I had they created wind drag, watch this space as they may well be producing a backpack
yes they will mount to most things, I was thinking of mounting them to my old racks, but prefer them to be up and out the way, nothing sticks out so its easy to filter and slim
Hi there, do you think that those 10 litre bags will fit a 14 inch laptop (23 x 33 cm, 8.7 x 13 inch)? I'm looking for something as small as possible that will still fit a laptop + my wallet for work commute.
I've a 15 inch laptop and it won't fit, the 30 fits easy for sure, but if you're thinking backpack style the straps are not that good for wearing on your back, very basic
yes so was I to be honest, mine are 10 years old had a lot of use, they are ok but filtering in them is well it don't happen and its so so hot get caught in it and I would melt, and they did rattle and roll a little, so for the price I though it would give them a go. still 2- nil

Have one of these and it works well.
Great review and real testing.
cheers Stephen , I love my bags, and it made me really think about what I really need to take away, light is better
Thank you so much, ordering both the 30 and the 20 to stack on my cbr500r for my first road trip across canada. cheers
cool. they are great budget bags, have you got the gen 1 or the new model
@@badbadgerretiredinthailand I went with the old model since the new ones apparently have elastic bits on the straps and seem less sturdy
great alternative option
Bargain
What I think Tony is you have conveted me away from a back box and rails on to the same system 😂😂 Cheers buddy 👍

Love them for the money, the only thing kreiga do is a 10 year warranty, which is pretty awesome
a backpack would be good
