What happened was that the points capped out at 1000 and started over, so teams like the Knicks who probably didn't get to 1000 would win bc the other team's points started over. That is why the good teams missed and the bad teams made it

Same goes for the stats. If they made 500 out of 1001 shots the computer is seeing 500 makes out of 01 shot taken.

I think the reason they had negative point differentials was either in the games they lost they got out scored by a lot, or it had to do with the scores capping and resetting.
