I first saw her in the movie “Bad Teacher” alongside Cameron Diaz (which didn’t come out until a few years before the final season of The Office) and her scenes were my absolute favorite. She was hilarious! That entire movie is so funny and entertaining. So later on once I finally started watching The Office, I was so happy when I saw her as Phyllis! It was also really strange at first because her character on Bad Teacher was a lot nicer lol. I also recognized her voice immediately when I watched “Inside Out” and heard her voice portraying the character that represents “Sadness.” 😂

I seem to be the minority here, but I actually really like Phyllis. Granted, I'm a bit biased due to her actress voicing Sadness in _Inside Out,_ which is what led me to this show, but I tend to side with her over Angela. Her marriage to BV, VR is also worth praising. Jim and Pam naturally get the lion’s share of attention due to them being main characters, but Phyllis and Bob also have a very loving relationship.
