This book is trash. I mean the depths the writers just sank to is incredible...
Just to have a dirty 30 they made a ghost appear in human form so the scene is less controversial but after the deed was done she's back in her old ghost form.
Also MC must be a shit medium 'cause how do you not wonder or try to find out why is grey doing all this? what's the sudden power surge and then things get back to normal. they acting like this is everyday shit.
Also can i just say grey is a horrible human being. after turning human her first thing is to dick down the nearest person and satisfy her lust. i mean seriously? can a person's personality stoop so low??? wasn't she questioning her existence just seconds ago?
also it doesn't help that there is no choice to reject her romantic advances. MC before the 30 scene "kisses grey fiercely".
This book's storyline is just a ruse for them to experiment on how creative they can get with the steamy scenes without pushing the moral boundaries.
ALSO HUGE PSA: THE NEW DEADLIEST GAME CHAPTER AND THE NEW BOOK'S CHAPTER (HEARTS ON FIRE) WOULD GET DELAYED CAUSE I HAVE SOME OVERTIME SHIFTS TO WORK AND I CAN'T SAVE SOME TIME TO PLAY ALL THESE CHAPTERS. they made her briefly human cause the writers couldn't do it not cause of controversy, but cause of their own morals. it's a game book we seen and did weirder things.

I just saw on Choices that there is a new book coming out called Rivals with Benefits... I think it's book 2 of Roommates with Benefits but I think it's a whole different story with different characters. I'm honestly over it. Cancelling good books or giving good stories only 1 book and then giving us garbage.....does PB not pay attention to their user's opinions?
Also, I really wish there could be options in books where you can just be friends with the LIs, like I have not found many LIs that actually attract me. I remember the Elementalists had an option where you could be asexual, and I'd like them to bring that back honestly
