Sometimes assassins creed really nail their dialogue to an a+ because that is one of the most badass quotes of all time

I know Ezio is a fictional character, but I've always been so inspired by the character of this man. He's gone through absolute hell, I have never been betrayed as he has or watched those I love murdered in front of me. I have however lost most of my family, my brother died as a baby, my mother passed from cancer when I was young, my father was never a part of my life, I believe he is even long gone. I was broken by the events in my life, I went though. I was always inspired by him standing strong despite clearly broken from the pain. Always showing others respect and growing as a man, even moving past his rage and pain. I fought for years to try and be half the person of Ezio's Character. Though he is a fictional character, he has always been a personal hero of mine, someone who I believe would be his closest counterpart in real life in comparison to their personality and how they hold themselves, and the real person whom I see as a role model and to aspire to, Keanu Reeves. That man has gone through so much and holds himself with equal if not more dignity and grace of that of the spirit of Ezio's Character. I know he plays a lot pf characters but that man in real life is dang humble and simply an amazing person despite everything they have gone through. If Ezio was real, I could definitely see them being the same spirit.

Being Honest it's evident how Ubisoft are trying to make the game look prettier, they fail to realise every year that it's not about the visuals of the game but the Character and the Story! Witnessing Ezio's life and character, made me care about him. This is what the franchise used to be about! I was always excited to see where Ezio adventures would lead him next and what challenges he would face. Seeing a different character every year made me care less. If Ubisoft want this franchise to become big again, they need to listen to their fans, and give us a character we'll love and a story driven game.

Oh god someone said it for me, I can't let my homes catch me crying over a fictional character...but they made you grow attached to Ezio as you watched his life unfold, from the moment he was born..to his death, I frankly couldn't give two shits about the assassin's they came up with, you grew a bond with Ezio and that made the game all the more exciting.

    • @Rickiebobby1st

I'm saying so only because I see so many comments in every ac video about how Ubisoft don't put enough spirit and heart into the characters and storyline therefore the series become less and less interesting as they come out because they want to profit as much as possible. You know what, as virtuous as all of your complaints are, unless you true fans do something about it Ubisoft will continue doing the same thing you guys hate. If you want their style to change then all of you true fans should do something about it high time otherwise your criticisms are just Ubisoft's fart at the end of the day. If it doesn't work because Ubisoft would rather listen to immature button smashing punks instead for profit then find another venue or so like designing indie versions of AC that really adhere to the lore, character development and storyline (meaning no slowing down the present day story to be continued for the next sequel as most of us notice). There! I've given you all the answers to solve this. It's up to any of you to act upon them. Hopefully someone will read this and be inspired to create a Facebook protest group or maybe design a proper AC games should he have the indie skills for it or associates as skilled as he. Yes I know I'm just one person. At least I said something under the hopes that my thoughts won't go to waste.

One thing i love and hate at the same time about community of all AC games (Both old hardcore fans and new ones..) is how differently we percieve these games and we still enjoy them... BUT... there comes this BUT...
We, who were like 14-16 and went home from school and played these games... newer generation doesn't understand the feeling that we got when playing this... we were witnessing one of greatest stories of all time in gaming and we didn't know it. it blew our minds and fused us with the FICTIONAL character on really personal level cause he was written THIS good... LITERALLY from birth to death. it really is weird that some of us connected to character so flawed, but same time with great will and resolve, with anger and pride (that sometimes went over his head) in his youth, but also with great aspiration... with such cocky attitude when he was young that ended with great wisdom and satisfying closure. its just not the same with new games. i wish it was but i don't know if it is something with writers of story or just ubisoft in general. it doesnt matter. all i wish is that people who create newer games give more time to developing such character in newer games and story that give so much emotion and so much interest as we had in Ezio Audiotore De Firenze. RIP dude. you were my fictional best friend

themuffinman given the incredible steps tv shows have made in recent years, I think an assassins creed 2 Netflix/HBO show could work. Each sequence could form an episode, resulting in roughly 14 episodes, and that's just series 1. You have brotherhood and revelations to follow. At the very least it's a fun concept to consider :)

How far has the Assassins have fallen/..
"Freedom to choose the path you seek", "Question everything", "Do not follow me or anybody". Those are the words of wisdom from Ezio, the greatest Mentor of the Renaissance.
"To follow your mentor without questioning" (Excerpt from AC Rogue). Those are the words from what could be the worst Mentor I've seen. Archilles is responsible for destroying an entire city and drove Shay Cormac away and turned him into a Templar, who in turn single-handedly destroy all Assassin' stronghold during that time period.
Even Connor had disagreed with Achilles methode once. "Not with men like you still in charge."
