- This tutorial video demonstrates how to setup the aerodynamic simulation in ANSYS FLUENT and conduct validation of the simulation results against the published experimental data by NASA.
The model geometry in STP format can be obtained from here:

The Excel Spreadsheet used for calculating the wing LE & TE coordinates at the desired wing station can be downloaded here:

The article used for CL & CD validation can be found here:

Excellent tutorial, one of the greatest actually.
Excellent video as always sir!
Thanks for this tutorial. I didn't understand one part. How did you manage to set x axis starting from 0 to 1 or default setting is like this?
The first layer height in your video is 0.4mm, but it should be 0.04mm or less if you want the y+ value to be around 30,right?
Kindly tell what you did between 10 35 minutes and 10 45 minutes?
How long do you run the simulation?
Hi, your video is very informative. I'm using ANSYS 2021 but I couldn't find the pressure coefficient part from CFD-Post. I also looked at your redirect in the comments, but that didn't work either. How else can I find?
Hi, you have to run the simulation for one more iteration once you have selected the legacy format.
@@vincentcfd9806 Thank you. I made it
@@gulsedabircan2409 merhaba. Akademik bir çalışma için mi araştırıyordunuz
Can you tell me why I am not able to select pressure coefficient from CFX-Post, even though I exported it from fluent data file quantities?
You have to change the default format from cff to legacy in Fluent.
You can find the format option in: File - Preferences - General
I believe CFD-post is not yet developed to read the new .h5 format for ANSYS 2020 and 2021.
@@vincentcfd9806 Thank you, it worked.
