... I've got the music far too high in this video - I'm really sorry if it's annoying for anyone. I loved making this video and loved spending the day with Bob - check out his channel, Scotland Unplugged, if you can.
Me too, Mary. Some of the people I know have families who are constantly at odds with each other. My family is loving and supportive of each other and I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for them. I have a very large extended family and love them all.
Seeing you two at 7:15 brought a happy tear to my eyes. About 9 years ago my brother was in a car accident and became vegetative, and a few years ago he died. In that time I've bought land and livestock, and I know I would've had him next to me learning a thing or two if he could be there. I'm glad you had that opportunity with your brother.
Thanks everyone. My brother was someone who would never stop moving, learning, and would have lived in a tree in the forest if he could convince his wife and kids it was the right choice. As sad as it was, his death was a relief, because it meant he was no longer stuck in the prison of his own body, and his energy could move on. His ashes have been spread far and wide. They have been buried near his home, they nourish a tree in my yard, they travel in the mountain rivers he canoed, the winds blow them across the plains. I am at peace and moving forward, and so is he.
I just read an article on the Wallstreet Journal about your early life, family "challenges" and the circuitous route you took to hoof trimming. I was wondering how profitable the business was so came across a brief synopsis or your journey. Wow, over 600 people signed up for your first hoof trimming seminar from all parts of the world. It's amazing how your first videos intended for farmers have skyrocketed into massive interest around the world. Can't wait for your book to come out. I hope it goes into more detail about the family dynamics, tragedies and triumphs that guided you into trimming. Fascinating. Well done!
It helps that Greame is extremely attractive. Yes he is happily married, with cute kids ..but he is so hot, with a gift of explaining in such a way that's interesting. Better then most Hollywood hunks...lol

It isn't just a video or just hoof trimming. This your life and you have allowed us a glimpse into your life and it is an honor. I'm so glad this was such a great day for you. There is something so special about the bond between brothers.
I keep seeing people on other hoof channels say they prefer the purely technical, short videos. I can't imagine why. I enjoy those as well, but these videos are just as enjoyable with music and seeing you guys driving through the countryside, seeing up the crush, and even the music parts over you just working away. Keep up the good work, I've even added the songs you use to my UA-cam driving playlist.
Oh God, those people are so dramatic about it too. Like, the whole point of UA-cam is you can customize your recommendations. So either hit the thumbs up, the thumbs down or even don't recommend channel. But those people act like playing a little bit of music during the hoof trim is like some egregious sin. They act like everything has to be a competition.
People can make whatever content the platform allows. People can watch whatever they want. People are allowed their opinion and to voice it. My Gran used to say if you haven't got anything nice to say about someone don't. So ill refrain from commenting about them. Funny how some people are so happy, you can tell this man, his crew and his girls are they don't feel the need to put other people down. "I like both kinds of music, country and western." It's a bleeding you tube channel. Keep up the good work lads from Australia. 13 hot? Now with that I'd have something to say. Come here I'll buy you a beer when it's 40, at 45 yeah, time for the pub, well even at 13 it would be come to think of it but those girls won't give themselves a pedicure that would be udderly ridiculous.
It's a thing that often happens here where I live, a lot of people doing work for people (myself and other people I know included), we slip more into the accent of who we're talking to. It builds more of a rapport with the customer. I'm guessing that's what he's doing, not even intentionally, he's born and bred in that area so the accent is part of what he knows. It just comes out stronger when talking to someone who also has the accent coming out thickly
That's typical for most people with accents. When my Jamaican grandmother talks to her sisters it's like they're back home but when she pays bills you'd think SHE was the customer service rep.
Unfortunately because of the English there's still a perception that our accent and language are "lower class" somehow, so we get into the habit of turning it down when we're talking to strangers, or in public, and only really using it in private, or with friends and family. Happens with other languages being squeezed by English too, notice the post in this thread about Jamaican accents.
I was so happy to see Robert on your channel today. I watch his show regularly. It's really nice that he came to give you that family support. I can imagine how that would make me feel. Hope you all have a great week.
Appreciated your brother's comments about the sorts of things we who are not familiar with this world can't pick up from a video, like the smells and where to stand. Also was interesting to see the cabinet with the block equipment and how it's stored and used.

Oh, my gosh! Graham your brother is just as you are, he even talk in the way you do.... Yes I know you both are scottish.... 😂😂😂 But no, even the tone in your voice! You know what I mean? I totally understand how much this means to you!! 🥰🥰🥰
I’m so happy that your brother took time to visit with you and that you shared his visit with us!! Yes, once you’ve spent childhood time on a farm, it never leaves you ❤️ And the music wasn’t too loud, in my opinion. Love your channel!
It is always a joy to see brothers work together. I lost my youngest brother and my best friend three years ago. I am lucky in one way because I have three other brothers that try to fill the hole in my heart. Listening to the joy in Bob's voice has been very heart warming. I truly love all your videos and watching a master at work. 😊🥰👍👏
I work a desk job and I 100% want to consider taking the hoof trimming course. Like I feel like it would be the most healing journey for me to step away from high pressure Engineering and New Product Development management and spend my life with animals, where my cares and worries were getting cows feeling better, and out of the crush as soon as possible... instead of making money for someone else.
If you've got the time , talent, and means, go for it! I've been a desk jockey all my work life and wish I had done something similar to what you're thinking about years ago (when I wasn't so close to retirement). Doing what you love for a living is an important life choice. Good luck to you!

I watch both you and your brother's channel and love them both. The last time I saw my brother I got to spent the day helping him heard cows from one pasture to another, went 16 miles on horseback and had a blast. Getting to spend the day in his life will never be forgotten and is treasured as he was the last cowboy in our family of a long line of cattle ranchers.
I love Bob's POV & admiration of your work while reflecting a bit on your childhoods. Very happy he came along! Hope y'all had a great visit while he's down
Bob's comments were very straightforward and interesting. The experience base of people who worked in or grew up with agriculture is more important than many folks realize.
I live in the Pacific Northwest Washington State, U.S. of A. It rains 🌧️9 months of the year. & is overcast /☁️ cloudy a lot. 😂 I get it when you say how much you appreciate a sunny 🌞 day. 😀🥰 It was nice to see you & your brother and CraigieBoy together 🥰💐. The cows (or ladies as you called them) getting their pedicures Makes all females so happy 😁 😌 🥰 💜💚💙
This was absolutely amazing. Your brother provided some great shots that we normally don’t get to see, so thank you for allowing him to be part of the crew on this visit!
I love the way we are with each other in Scotland. I've tried to tell other people that if a Scotsman is nice and polite / courteous with you, chances are he really doesn't like you. I'm not sure folk believe me, though 😅
I keep telling my American friends in particular that Brits in general will only tease you/take the P if we like you (it's not just Scots, I'm Welsh and Hubby is English - hence me being in exile 😂 - and I've had Irish friends from both sides of the border). Why waste breath on someone you don't like? 😅
How fortunate you are to live in such a beautiful county as Scotland. Your pride and love of Scotland should mightily in you videos. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Wow Bob has a surprisingly good camera presence. He’s a complete natural; it must run in the family! Great video as always Mr GP Edit: He has his own UA-cam Channel “Scotland Unplugged”. That would explain it lol
Hello Bob, so nice to see you with your brother and hear your observations. I can definitely see the similarities between you. Great video Graeme, now you have proof that the sun does shine in Scotland, those cows and their babies were so cute!💕🇨🇦
Mr HooF GP and team. You help lighten my heart with the good work you do for the cows. Thank you. As an old rancher your show re-awakens many good reminders of my time ranching. Bless you and your whole team. Thank you.
Good to see Bob coming along with you. He is so right about the smells etc., never leaving you. I spent the first couple of years of my life on a dairy farm, and visited often when we left. Even now at 57 if we go down to that area, I smell the damp air and the cow manure and I'm home.
Hello Mr Bob and welcome to Graeme's UA-cam herd! What a wonderful day for you and your brother! It is about time!! I would LOVE to see your country myself, as, I am only 4th generation Canadian 🇨🇦 and my fathers said is all from Scotland. I also have family who have had a dairy farm in the family for over 100 years (inlaws) and can truly appreciate the hard work and team work that goes into farming. Thanks and praise from Peterborough Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️ BTW, very warm today here! 28 degrees C but no humidity. It does get 40 degrees here in the "dog days of summet" with the humidity.
Here from Bancroft Ontario your neighbor down the road. Lol my family is also from Scotland and Ireland and I'd love to visit both places. Where Graeme lives looks so beautiful. Wonderful to see Bob with the trimmers today. Handsome lot of men.
This is beautifully produced Graeme and featuring your brother Bob and Craig too really came across how a family can work so well together. Thank you so much for these wonderful videos and allowing us to share your experiences.
Hoof GP is getting me through my law degree and I'm not alone! I tutor at my law school and a number of my students love hoof trimming. According to my productivity, the channel is not always the best influence. But in my opinion, the channel is a happy influence. And my mother agrees. That's right - every law student* and they're Mum rates the Hoof GP! *Classic law student with the modest, humble generalisations there...
Hi guys, that was an amazing and wonderful video experience. Having your brother there with Craigie and yourself must have been magical. His narrative along with yours really made this video a memorable experience for both of you and me. Thanks Graeme keep doing the great work you do.😊😊😊👋👋👋👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌👌👌✨✨✨
Great to meet you Bob, I hope you're not going to be a stranger to us. You're right, growing up on a farm, it never leaves you and it's always good to be back, even if only for a short while. All the best.
So wonderful to see your brother with you! I understand about childhood memories being on a farm. I grew up in a large farming area, with many family members farmers, including my own being cattle farmers. I recently moved away from decades in the city to east Texas…small towns, LOTS of countryside. Every time my wife and I take a drive, a smile stays on my face, and I’m completely at peace. It never leaves you.
This was a really fun video! I love that he talked about the smells and things were would not necessarily know about the experience. I definitely didn’t think about the burning hooves with the grinder. What a fun time to have him close. Thanks guys!
Family is good to have around! Great to see Robert recognize all the work involved in your job! Good to see all those Mothers in top shape again and off with their young ones!😀😊
This was a wonderful episode, and nice to see the handsome extends into the rest of the family! Honestly though, loved to watch the two of you together.
Grew up on dairy farm in Wisconsin,USA. Many days spent trimming hooves of dairy cows with my dad. He's long gone now and those were the best days of my life. Thanks for the memories.😅
I can imagine how proud you were for your brother to come along with you today. Did he give you any pointers? And I can see the good looks run in the family.
You may not get much sunshine in Scotland but the absolutely breathtaking beauty and scenery certainly makes up for it, and spending time with family and loved ones makes it extra special, tfs x Julie
This was a great video. It seems like Robert filmed some segments and it was awesome to have a bit more zoomed out view to watch you and Craig work in tandem. Seeing the tools used and hung from a different vantage really showed another piece of the puzzle. Amazing synchronicity. It was also terrific seeing his commentary of being there and seeing it in person. You guys all make a great team as usual.
Love your commitment to excellence. Also enjoy getting little insights into the Crush details... not a whole video but wee vignettes along the way while doing a trim.
It's great to see brothers working together. I have had the opportunity to work many jobs with my brother even though we live in different states. We both have the same careers (iron workers) but on the big jobs across the states we find each other. Another great video!!
What a talented family, your Mom has to be so proud. Glad to see The Bard went to work with you and Craigie. Thank you for another fantastic video, best regards to Mrs HGP and the kids.
Such a beautiful day!!! I really enjoyed this video (as I do all of them). Kinda back to the basics and showing us more of your day than just the severe cases. Like Bob you never really forget the farm life as a kid. The smells transport you back in time. A momentary childhood deja vu. ❤😊👍🏻
It gave me a warm feeling seeing you with your brother. Family and friends make me feel that way too. I had a farm for a bit and I did our goats hooves. I love watching and learning with your videos. 🐾🐕🦺
What a dear family.....caring and love overcome the disasters we have to endure in time... Great to see Robert, love his "Scotland Unplugged" learned much history from his videos.....What's next?? Maybe James to visit the Hoof GP? ❤🐮❤
It was really nice hearing from Bob...I grew up on a farm and moved into town for the next 15 years....then back to the country so I appreciate his perspective. Thanks for sharing!
I love that you got to spend the day with your brother, we all need that at times! it’s neat that Bob gave comments he is proud of you! I miss my big brother he has been gone now about 4 yrs I think of him a lot and miss him especially seeing this video ❤
Just read up on your life. You've gone through so much but have persevered. You are inspiring. I grew up on a farm in western Canada 🇨🇦. Our cows were all pasture raised and luckily none of them required a bovine pedi but I find this fascinating. Just subscribed! Keep doing what you're doing 👍.
Really good to see you in such happy spirits in this video! You're a special person, so good at what you do both as a hoof trimmer and a videographer/host/editor. Thanks for sharing those talents with us, which in turn makes us happy.
you and your brother are almost twins. I am so happy that you and he had a great time at the farm together. I hope you two do more videos together cause it was really heart warming to see. Thank you for the great video and thank you for the awesome smile you and your brother put on my face and in my heart. God bless you all.
I don’t know how you do it. The music on your videos is ALWAYS so top notch. Just such a loving, calming, soothing background. You’ve always had that touch on all your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
What an amotional episode! I'm so happy we got to share this moment with you. I'm so sorry for what happened to changed your happy childhood. Wishing you all a happy year ahead.
Spending part of the day accompanying you and Craig while you work would be such an interesting experience. I found your videos during the pandemic and the technical process of approaching different hoof problems has been fascinating!
So fantastic to see you and Robert spending time, together. Your family bond is strong, and it shows. I enjoy both of your channels so much. Thank you for sharing this time with us! 😊😊😊
Bob!!! I’m glad you finally graced us with your presence on here! You boys are the greatest! I love both of y’all’s channels and of course Craigie Boy’ channel! From a daughter of a Frazier that actually lives in NC, keep up the great work!
Hey, how's it going Bob ? You did say that you'd give your bro a visit. Great to see you two brothers together and ofcourse His Craigship 😊😊😊 Job well done guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Calves staying with the mother and 15 year old cows still walking around on the farm? Any farmer in the Netherlands I've ever heard on the topic claims that's not economically viable. So happy with farmers who treat their animals as living beings with feelings.
I have to say this video was fun to watch the second time as the first. Coming from a family of 10 kids I understand picking on each other, especially with my younger sister who I don't think we ever said acnice thing about each other when we got together. But it was in fun. Love seeing Bob and he does have a great page. 💖💖💖
It’s your family! And I applaud you for having your brother along with you! My family has never seen what I do and they have no idea what I do. I am a Registered Nurse. So keep up the good stuff. Glad you guys have quality time together. The world is so crazy right now, that seeing people you care about matters even more than ever.
I love Bob's POV & admiration of your work while reflecting a bit on your childhoods.
Very happy he came along!
Hope y'all had a great visit while he's down
Nothing as heartwarming as seeing how happy you are when your with your brother. Cheers mate!
It was nice to see you & your brother and CraigieBoy together 🥰💐. The cows (or ladies as you called them) getting their pedicures Makes all females so happy 😁 😌 🥰 💜💚💙
I LOVE to watch you help these cows! You do a great job, and I am thrilled that your audience/subscribers are steadily increasing! SUPER!
This was absolutely amazing. Your brother provided some great shots that we normally don’t get to see, so thank you for allowing him to be part of the crew on this visit!
You're a master at combining teaching of your craft and sharing your feelings. It's a joy to watch.
It must feel so good as a farmer to look at your livestock and know that they're well cared for and their feet don't hurt!
Very enjoyable ! Nice to meet your brother and happy you guys were able to share the day.
I am genuinely impressed by your experience and passion for what you do. The world needs more people like you.
Look at that tiny wee calf😍 so heart warming to know this farm keeps the moms and babies together🩵 God Bless these Mamas and their Babies💞
Thats because unlike dairy cattle, beef cattle nurture their calves
Great video as always Mr GP
Edit: He has his own UA-cam Channel “Scotland Unplugged”. That would explain it lol
So good to see two brothers working side by side! Glad that you were able to have him with you! Another awesome video. Thankyou!
Thank you.
So nice to have your Brother there...niceeeee memories for you both!!!
I love the love that you share towards the animals. You’re a wonderful person Graeme. 17:32
His name is Graeme, just FYI!
@@Origamigryphon Thank you!
@@stellacobb8715 you're very welcome!
Good to see you, Bob! Hope this won't be the only time. Interesting to hear your perspective.
It is absolutely terrific to see your brother sharing your enthusiasm for this profession!
What a gift to share between brothers!
Glad Bob enjoyed his day with our Hoof GP and Craigy boy!
Good to see you Gareth and Bob. God bless you all
This was a wonderful episode, and nice to see the handsome extends into the rest of the family!
I love to hear y’all talk. I’m from Texas & have a very southern drawl. I’m so glad that y’all got to spend the day together!!
What a talented family, your Mom has to be so proud. Glad to see The Bard went to work with you and Craigie.
Thank you for another fantastic video, best regards to Mrs HGP and the kids.
It's fascinating to watch. GP explains what he is doing to treat cows. I find it comforting to watch. Bursting access, my favorite
Me aswell,!!
Your parents must be really proud. ❤ how fun spending time with your brother 😂
Beautiful to see your brother join you for a day. That's brotherly love.
Loved the brother visit today 🎉. I don't normally comment - but i could surely see and "feel" how pleased you both were to share this time! Great. ❤🇨🇦
Always loved your videos
Cause it works as a mind satisfying for me
Love from Kerala, INDIA.

So fantastic to see you and Robert spending time, together. Your family bond is strong, and it shows. I enjoy both of your channels so much. Thank you for sharing this time with us! 😊😊😊
Hey, it’s Scotland Unplugged Bob! He’s a great storyteller as you can see from his little section here.
Awesome that your brother got to out with you. I liked how he has a new found appreciation for you.
Bob!!! I’m glad you finally graced us with your presence on here! You boys are the greatest! I love both of y’all’s channels and of course Craigie Boy’ channel! From a daughter of a Frazier that actually lives in NC, keep up the great work!
I knew you were from the South with the word, y'all's. Daughter of a McCorkle here in the Piedmont of NC. I love these videos.
Eastern NC watching to. From a daughter of McKenzie
Nothing is more important than family. Great to see brothers together!!!!❤
Hey, how's it going Bob ? You did say that you'd give your bro a visit. Great to see you two brothers together and ofcourse His Craigship 😊😊😊 Job well done guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
So nice to hear about your coming up with you brother....i cant tell you how much your videos take me away to a beautiful place!
Calves staying with the mother and 15 year old cows still walking around on the farm? Any farmer in the Netherlands I've ever heard on the topic claims that's not economically viable. So happy with farmers who treat their animals as living beings with feelings.
Went to my dads farm to see the baby calves for the first time since last spring over this weekend. Farm never leaves you. My 4 yo had so much fun.
It's really great, when your family finally understands, and appreciates, what you do. Great stuff!
The positive things you and your crew (family members) are doing is making a difference. And all because of your kindness, dreams and dedication to assisting the community around you. One cow, one farmer at a time! The crew and you are making things happen and right for the kindness to animals who are feeding all of us. So Thank you 😊, blessings are small and sometimes just right for a community! Good stuff starts with a dream to be better and kind. And that’s what I love about this channel you have created. 🎉keep on keeping on… lol I am just a person from Alaska, but I see you from across the pond… ( and you are doing good stuff, good work, good people in a place that has always been!( that’s what we say here)) … 😊
I just received my little Kirsty cow. She is adorable. I also got one for my great niece and she loves it. She feeds it and tries to milk her. Thank you so much. I love the videos and can't wait for new ones
