I made my own emblem lights for my K1200RS for under $20. Simply cut some rings of Perspex, glue strip LED lights to the inside surface of the ring & wire into your light circuit. There is a post about it on the I-BMW site or I can email photos or the link to any who are interested.

Dear RMK, ive installed mine just like yours. However only the upperpart of de leds are blinking orange and not the whole emblem like yours. What did i do wrong? Thanks! Ive got the twotone version. Btw. The whites shine all the way around?!
SoloNetherlands Goedemorgen meneer nederland, sounds like the orange LED might be faulty which can happen if the white is working all the way round, best to contact Schroedie direct and let Stefan know as he’s not to far away from Holland 🇳🇱 to Germany 🇩🇪 😁👍

Zz Top no it’s actually a couple of hours to do the install except I took my time and it was a working week which eventually turned out to be seven days from start to finish 😁👍

I started this last weekend on my k16. Hopefully ill get it completed this weekend. Can i use wiretaps?
Reggie R2 yes mate good luck with the install although it's a lengthy process you should get through it without too much hassle. Yes wiretaps are good but my advice is buy good quality ones - best of luck and let me how you go 👍
how do you connect wirings on a 2020 BMW R1250GS?
You’ll need to “tap” into the indicator wiring for both the left and right hand side to work successfully

Good to see you have them working. I solder nearly everything wiring-wise. There are very few things where solder will not work but there are some.

I like the amber flash and I like the white running light but I don't like the alternating white/amber when the indicator is activeas you just can't differentiate the amber from the white enough IMO. Probably get some, I'll just not wire in the white running light.

Be good if the running light was deactivated during turn signal operation. But I still like them a lot. Defo something I'll add to my R1200GSA LC at some point.

Hi! Can I ask where did you fit the blue LED wire into? Does it have to be a 12v or would it work from the din socket? Cheers
LAMBO Fun I couldn’t tell you if a din socket would work as I used the 12v socket as my power supply which kicks the power to the LED once the ignition is turned off, so my suggestion would be to use the 12v socket - best of luck with the installation 😁👍
12v socket?????? No idea where that is, or tap into the a 12v wire? Guess I may need to chat to BM about it, I do like the emblem LEDs
LAMBO Fun depending on which type of BMW ride, the 12v is the miniature power supply on the right hand side of the K16, your bike well just have a look or ask your BM dealer 👍
Just got the emblem indicators and will fit them this week, was going to ask the same question. Thanks...12v socket it will be, I use the 12v socket to charge my battery with the OEM motorrad battery charger I have, hopefully that shouldn't cause any issues with the indicators when charging in storage.
I think the posi locks types you were using are somewhat hit and miss as to whether the blade slices the insulation properly and makes electrical contact - I far prefer this type:www.webbikeworld.com/sale/posi-locks-for-sale.htm
Hey Nick, yes I've seen these before and have used with success, unfortunately I didn't think of them at the time and only had these blue crappy posi locks that yes, didn't engage the blade slice. Want to do some more work so will get some of these, thanks for the comments, very much appreciated... :)

I appreciate the video but how did you wire the roundels to the front running lights (conversion kit?) and you also got it wired to the rear turn signals and top tank lights? Help please. I have the shrodies and the Clearwater amber conversion kit. Also am running a Rowe Electronics Pdm60. Thank you
