Mate you have got to be joking! Here we are TEN months later and you think that is some sort of excuse. Any other team would have used the GF as motivation not an excuse. How many sets ended on the weekend with forwards running into the line making 1 metre a run and then dying with the ball or Mam trying to dribble a kick through 10 feet? Some possible solutions 1. Get the mirrors out of the sheds 2. Get them off social media 3. Get an Under 12 Coach to teach them how to pass a ball catch a ball tackle etc. That doesn't apply to the the majority of the team but the ones who can't do those things are costing us big time. 4. Get rid of not doing anything that might offend their fragile feelings and let Alfie and co. tell them a few facts of life. From a Broncos supporter since day 1 but now Dolphins, Cowboys and Titans one in that order. The Broncos don't deserve support after the crap they'd served up over the last few months.
*THE BRONCOS* are not being drilled to be a champion team - like Penrith or Melbourne. Waiting for Reece Walsh to crash or burn each game is not a recipe for success. Same with Ezra Mam. There were two or three times when Adam Reynolds was waiting arms out for the ball to come from the dummy half - and it was sent somewhere else. They don't have consistency. They don't look like they have a plan. And they don't have a nitrous mode like Melbourne or Penrith, that they can engage to kill off their opposition or strike back from adversity.
Maybe it’s time to have a Broncos team in QLD cup to develop same squad so if any need for changes arise due to injury or suspension. Another player can step up from QLD cup Bronx side to play and know same system.
As a Broncos fan it is clear to see that we are just continually doing the same things and expecting a different result.... haven't been able to win a first half in months, let alone a game. 2024 is done even if they can scrape into the finals.

Too many rockstars with egos bigger than the sun and think they’re bigger than the club. Add to that, the team clearly came into this season with a poor preparation and obviously limited focus on defence 🤬
They had it won after 65 minutes but it is an 80 minute game, they never had any fingers on the trophy and they got the titans next week, the titans beat the dolphins this weekend. The panthers lost in 2020 and went on to win 3 in a row. Excuses just don't get it done.
Being a Bunnies supporter I know exactly how the Broncos fan base is feeling, we went from a GF appearance to a top 4 finish to dropping out of being the leaders at the halfway point in 2023 and have done SFA since then. But with the roster the Broncos have they should be top 4 at this point of 2024, I'd even goes as far as saying top 2. Don't worry, I think they will bounce back, Reyno knows what to do and with the strike power they have, can easily come back into contention for a finals run in 2024, just hope they don't loose anymore games those who follow them or its game over and Kevvie might find himself looking for another gig.

I think it's honestly just team figuring out Brisbane's gameplay same thing happened after 2015 , the team needs to evolve , Penrith are the only team to consistently play their style of footy for years. Teams like Melbourne have been able to adapt for over a decade Brisbane need to try something different the can't expect Walsh to create something on sweep plays 40+ meters out

I was at that game and as a broncos fan I was disappointed to see the player go straight to the dressing rooms and didn’t go around to see there fans who waited for them . Where all the bulldog’s player spent a long time with there supporters.
People need to remember this is the youngest side in the competition, meaning the marquee senior player and captain, Reynolds is even more important to them than other sides.. Last year with confidence up and some momentum they were able to perform reasonably well for small periods without him, but this year the long absence coincided with injuries to walsh, and then the origin period, all at a time when losses are mounting, inexperience is significant in to keep composure. But... The more they've played into this idea their attack is just so potent they can outscore teams and not need to grind out wins, this is the type of squad that attitude cultivates.. a side that can make a final one year and be bottom 4 the next.. On paper a premiership in the next 3 years is almost a necessity for which ever coach replaces walters, I think he will do well to make it to the end of next year without a drastic turnaround..

Broncos "decline" can be summed up to a few things: 1. Injuries/ Suspensions to core players 2. The amount of depth lost in the last 2-3 seasons 3. Strength of draw (early) People like to say Penrith or Melbourne have lost players and always remained at the top, sure true and factual, Broncos however are losing multiple starters AND the back ups to the starters. So the depth just isn't there, this year due to injuries/ suspensions and origin they had to seek exemptions from the NRL to even have 17 on a team list, compared to last season where most weeks they could put an ideal 17 on the park to play moving 1-2 pieces as needed. To cover the strength of draw comment, look at the start of year compared to their back end, if they can keep the guys fit and firing, they are still within striking range of a top 8 finish.
