Mr. Rash is an attribute to professional bowling for many reasons: 1) There was a time when professional bowling crafted rules to exclude newcomers and even existing pros. It knocked Mr. Pedersen out and he became the voice of bowling. The rules were so restrictive that only a handful could make it into the pros and Mr. Rash was one of them because he is so talented. That is the best entry on his bowling resume. 2) Mr. Rash has a modern bowler's body. He is large enough, strong, and has long arms so can generate massive bowling power with today's equipment. It is loads of fun watching his shot blow the pins up. 3) A lot of pro bowling is about personality with a contest between likable and unlikable (Patrick Allen) bowlers. Of course the latter group is more entertaining because it is fun to root against them. Mr. Rash has an off-putting demeanor so he belongs to that group. But he has mellowed some with age. 4) Mr. Rash's worst characteristic is his balking. He consistently starts his approach and then stops midway to start over again. No bowler in history did that. It is awful to watch but part of his act. I believe that flaw in his game causes him to lose more than it helps him win. 5) Over the decades bowling has had few sports rivalries. But the crinkling water bottle incident between Mr. Rash and Mr. Belmonte has created a great rivalry. Even if it was faked - it is fun. Now any match between the two of them is super watchable because Mr. Rash clearly resents two-handed bowlers and Mr. Belmonte's dominance.
Sean is another great bowler on the PBA Tour. To bowl 2 300 games on national TV is amazing. I know that Ryan Ciminelli is good friend of Sean and his wife Sara.
Yes, he did. Rash is the only player to roll two 300 games in title events. Both of Malott's 300s were rolled at the King of Bowling, which was an exhibition. Ryan Shafer has also bowled 300 twice on TV, one of which was in a title event and the other in a team exhibition. Here are all televised 300 games, including exhibitions: ua-cam.com/play/PLwuUW8zaol8-Jwi63w2qcUXKlPSxhbH_r.html
