EXCELLENT! Finally get to meet the man who had a dream! WOW thanks so much and the ironic thing is at the end we hear heat above by Greta Van Fleet it was almost the icing on the cake a sonic fruit salad of marvellousness. He seemed like such a great guy the complete opposite to what I was expecting all from what was certainly in my opion a Golden Age of Computer Games, Thanks again for sharing,😀
Thank you! Did you see the interview with Chris Huelsbeck too? ua-cam.com/video/82QeY-UojiQ/v-deo.html I also have a interview with Tim Wright, the composer of music from Shadow of the Beast 2, Lemmings, Wipeout, Agony and more i need to publish that one too!!
It sure is! He is fantastic and I know how much many Brazilian people like his work!!! It was a blast to meet him in Bergen, Norway to do this interview!
COMBO RACER ! Finally ! 32 years later I found someone that liked it ! :) The tune that just wouldn't end ! :) seriously though, thank you ! Glad you liked them !
@@BarryLeitch An honor to receive your answer, Mr. Leitch. Imagine this: I am Spanish but I live in Peru. In 2019 I found out that you were going to talk about video game music (in Lima) and I couldn't miss it. I hum your music since I was a child XD
Wow thanks for this, didn't realize how much this guy has been into the scene. Of course knew his work from Lotus 2 etc but wow, really impressing resume. Clearly you're great at doing interviews, hope we'll see some more in the future 😎
Thanks I've have one in the pipeline that i need to publish with Tim Wright, Coldstorage the composer from Psygnosis making music from Wipeout, Lemmings, Shadow of the Beast 2, Agony and more. I have sked Jogeir Liljedahl, Jeroen Tel for inteviews too... They are up for it.
Interesting interview! I wasn't an Amiga guy, but I discovered FastTracker II on my first PC, with the speaker playing the MOD samples at a low rate and all scratchy, still that was mind-blowing. I knew nothing about how it worked, but with a bit of figuring out, I remade a tune from the Master System's Wonderboy III. Fun times.
You're right. FastTracker II didn't come to the Amiga. FastTracker II was a continuation from the old Amiga-time over to the PC. :) Nice to see you here. An interview with Chris Huelsbeck is comming too! :)
Exactly how I got into PC music and tracking! It started by being mesmerized with the PC Speaker quietly and noisily playing a random MOD file, with my ear pressed against the PC Speaker :) Always loved Barry Leitch's music, even though I did not have an Amiga back then either!
