I think zombie process doesn't take memory they just use the process id no.

Ha ha same questions are asked for Level-2 administrator in MNC.
I attended HPE interview recently. They have asked on virtualization, VMware etc. But that is not part of linux administration. And also many time have seen questions on RAID , LDAP , back up procedure etc for L3 which looks like advanced for a L1 candidate . Interviewer may ask sometimes questions related to his applications. Many times after L2 they will consider your profile for Devops. So if anyone looking for L3 and above, better to look into devops skills along which Linux. At least one or more scripting language is must.

If you apply sticky bit users can't the delete the files accidentally only owner can delete. SUID is useful when other user wanted to execute files with owner permissions. i hope you understand.

it might be a I/O issue, remount the partition using this command. mount -o remount,rw /mountpoint

Yes, it is safe to run because it only clears the .TMP and already deleted file system processes.

Remote server health means what you want to check. You can use SNMP to check remote server health status. Or write and schedule shell scripts to monitor and send alerts when server health is bad.

If suppose in fstab keep value 1 instead of 0. It continuously reboot or what will happen
nothing will happen, it will not always repair the blocks, it will do once (First time reboot after long time).

How to run crontab job for per second?
crontab wont support running every second use for loop or while loop in script to execute at every second.
Hi sir, I want to execute cronjob one every month end at 23:00 how we can do this.
Try this `date +%d -d tomorrow` -eq 01 then execute the script. which is always last day of the month.
00 23 1 Jan-Dec * command.

Dear sir, today interviewer asked me a question , what should i change or configure in file that during patching yum install by default 64 bit package.
You should include the architecture in repository if possible, otherwise configure only 64 bit supported repository.
