I personally think that by not having a by-election if a politician defects to another part makes any forthcoming general election that little bit more interesting to watch.
On the question about automatic by-elections if the elected MP / MSP switches to a different party; YES. There should be a by-election. Especially in Lisa Cameron's constituency. The policies of the SNP and Conservatives are miles apart so how did she get elected as an SNP MP in the first place??
This debate is a little lopsided 1 snp 1 tory and 3 Labour. With the tory as a no hoper. So why is there a clear labour labour push on the panel..bbc at it again.
There are rules against using social media in Scottish Gov they are assuming that because folk like Bojo did and everyone else is guilty by association
Kezia dugdale like she still isnt labour😂. What a hopelessly biased program.
Aye, and Megan Gallagher was aloud to sit on her fat arse unchallenged aboot what her conyouservatives got upto during covid.

Paul McNamee I'll never buy yer big issue again because I didn't realise your were a unionist.
If he is NI then likelihood is unionist mad. Plus don’t think even the Big Issue would have a pro Indy editor. Typical really.
