what if the data is in range format such as 17- 20 and something like that? Can we still use the same formula?

There are a few extra steps to find the mean when your information is given in interval form. And, if you do not know exact data values, you cannot accurately find the median or mode. I believe I do have a different video on how to find the mean from grouped data.
