The photo of Michael with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant was taken at a Monty Python promotional party in New York for the 'Holy Grail' movie in 1975. Led Zeppelin were part-financiers of the movie.
The budget for “Monty Python & the Holy Grail” was raised by rock bands including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd & Jethro Tull

I still have the biggest crush on Michael Palin
He has to be the bravest man in showbiz. Some of the things he did on Flying Circus look very dangerous: jumping off a lifeboat, climbing a cliff as the "It's" man, getting hit by a fish and falling into a canal. Makes action heroes look like pepperpots.
He was the glue that held Python together...and that took some doing, I'll wager.
