Anyways, the headphones I got were the Nari Ultimate. It's more focused on games, but still has THX Spatial Audio and LoFelt Haptics. I have the Haptic feed on 50% so I can really FEEL the hard bass and donks!

I like that it's becoming a yearly tradition to combine your music with a walking/scooter ambience video. Also, hardbass and doggo antics go together like potato and cheese. I full-screened dat boi and watched in max res. ❤ What sort of camera set-up did you use this year? Chest-mount GoPro? (edit: it looks like it pans sometimes, so maybe an Insta360 with one of those magnetic necklace mounts?)
It has turned into a tradition, hasn't it? haha. I was thinking of wearing a chesty for this, but realized i couldn't pan away if I had to walk straight at something reflective. I shot it handheld on a GoPro 9 with one of those powerbank handles. I know it's considered "old" by today's standards and I know newer ones are "better", but not 500 euros better. If that makes sense.
I stayed in Riga Style Hostel, Alfreda Kalnina iela 4, 11, Riga, LV 1050, but I hear it has closed down. It was an excellent place, just you shouldn't have heavy baggages with you unless you want some serious exercise in stairs. Of course, everybody wants to exercise. There was a nice tea house in the park.
This quickly became my commute music going home from work at 2am with the windows down, freezing snow blowing in, seat heater on while wearing a winter jacket. The whole ensemble helps keep me awake, and the music lasts juuuuust long enough to see me home safely.
The fact that this man is able to make the best music in the world in spite of the fact that he has a small audience and little funding is truly awe inspiring and I think we should all aspire to be masters of our craft like uamee
My thoughts on 2023 for uamee overall: This was defently a weirder year for shure and a more experimental one too. Ignoring the declining views i think this year got actually better the more it went on. The beginning of the year had very few tracks and while they were good, it wasnt quite up the usual uamee standard. But it got better and i think the stuff from 5.56 and onwards was almost all amazing especially the Dank 90s wich might become one of my all time favorites. Seriouly the song gets better by each time i listen again. Overall this year kinda reminded me of 2019 with the more experimental yet also kinda oldschool style and quality wise i think they were similar too. Just like 2019 this year had some more meh songs, but the highs were REAL HIGHS. It was no god tier uamee year like 2020 or 2021 but i still enjoyed the music. I just wish hardbass had its popularity again that it had before 2022. Its my favorite music genre and seeing it in this state is sad. Many good artist like Gopnik stopped while others that used to be good like Blyatman and Alan Aztec i dont like they newer songs not as much. uamee is the last good one left imo and whatever we will get in 2024, im sure it will be good, just please still give us atleast some hardbass from time to time. If uamee quit hardbass it would be the final nail in the coffin for my favorite music genre.
I think Aztec is honestly the saddest loss here. I left the genera for a few years, and came back to find it dying. UAMEE has been my saving grace. I hope UAMEE stays pumping for as long as possible!

I'm glad this footage exists. Riga is pretty and fairly clean for an Eastern European city, but it's going to a shame when it gets wrecked when it's invaded again by either Russia or The Fourth Reich or both during the war.
