"Everybody lost someone", there's a narration saying this quote in the drama, though I don't remember which ep it was. Ji Wook lost his parents, Bong Hee lost her dad, the DA lost his son, Jang Hyun Soo lost the girl he liked, and many other characters. There are sad tragedies behind these characters which makes this drama so good and also makes it so hard to hate the villain.

I know people usually love main lead (Hero) in the drama but I fall for *Jung Hyun Soon* (the villain) to be honest I love him more than Ji Wook. He portrayed his character very well that whenever I saw him in the drama I can feel his pain. The depth of his pain I really feel sad for him it really break my heart when he cry in hospital after seeing her picture. He is really good actor. I'm falling in love with villain.

I never really hated Jung Hyun Soo even tho he's really a prick lol. But i really admired how years later he became so smart he even remembered the placement of everything in his apartment. He really planned his revenge. Tho he shouldn't have frame someone else for his crimes. Tho his crimes had reasons, he will always be a murderer.
I mean, Jung Hyunsoo was a bad person. But damn, the guy went through a lot. I actually feel for him. I mean, what he did is obviously unjustifiable. That's just plain bad. But what drove him to do that-the reason behind his killings, I actually get. Like, if I could give you justice in a different way, I definitely would, bro.
Kudos to the actor who played the character. He's very talented and he portrayed the character perfectly. I easily felt the character's pain. I also love it when he seems to mock the lawyers or pretend to be innocent😂 Ah, such a great actor. I hope to see him be the next big thing hehe.

××POSSIBLE SPOILERS×× Honestly, I felt really bad for Jung Hyun Soo.
he was a bystander to what happened to his first/only love, but he didn't have the strength or courage to do anything to help her and then erased that memory and his shame because it was better to have not been there than to have seen it all and not done anything to stop it.
His resolve in the end was to pay penance to her and revenge against the students who did that. He might have felt just as guilty, as if he had actually been one of the perpetrators.
I think it was a little cruel of the prosecuter (ji chang wook) to force a confession out of him by charging him with rape, because he knew that Jung hyun soo would rather be a murderer than be charged with the rape of his only love. Sad.

Actually that's a lawyer's/investigation team's strategy to get confessions from criminals although it's cruel, it's one of the most effect strategy.
It's their only way to provoke the defendant for him to confess about the the evidences. Abosolutely best drama💚

I’ve known this drama ever since 2021, but I didn’t get to understand the meaning of the drama so much. That one line Ji-uk said, it was really meaningful. Losing someone whom meant everything to you, it would’ve been really difficult to you. And liking a person you care about so much that you had to understand their situation more than your own situation, it’s so painful. When you lose them, it’s still them you think of. When you had a possible chance to be together with the person you liked, but you weren’t meant to be, how hard is that? Even losing a friend is tough. I’m the oldest in my trio, both of them are minors including me. And they’re already focusing on their love life, it hurts me too ‘cause I don’t want them to be hurt, but I also want them to experience something like that in-order for them to focus on their future more than their love life. I mean, even if they’re like that, I still love them so much. Every time they’re having struggles in life, I just really try to understand them. I want them to tell me everything that’s been hard, so I could just genuinely comfort them, because I want them to know I’m always there for them. I focus on the meaning of my words, ‘cause I want them to know the worth of one life.
