Noida के निठारी से एक के बाद एक बच्चे गायब हो रहे थे. इसका जब खुलासा हुआ तो पूरा देश हिल गया. मोनिंदर सिंह पंढेर और सुरेंद्र कोली की वजह से नोएडा का छोटा सा गांव Nithari देशभर में पहचाना जाने लगा. वारदात के 18 साल बाद भी निठारी गांव का नाम सुनते ही लोग डर सहम से जाते हैं. 2006 में निठारी की D-5 कोठी में ऐसा क्या हुआ था, जो आज भी लोगों के ज़हन से बाहर निकल नहीं पा रहा है. ये जानने के लिए 'क्राइम ब्रांच' के इस एपिसोड में अरविंद ओझा ने न्यौता दिया 1984 बैच के सब इंस्पेक्टर गजेंद्र सिंह को. जिन्होंने Surendra Koli और Moninder Singh Pandher से पूछताछ की थी. It was 2006. One after another children went missing from Nithari in Noida. When this was revealed, the whole country was shaken. Because of Moninder Singh Pandher and Sundar Koli, a small village started being known as Nithari. Even after 18 years, people get scared just by hearing the name of Nithari village. What happened in D-5 bungalow of Nithari in 2006, which is still not getting out of people's mind. In this episode, Arvind invites sub-inspector Gajendra Singh in 1984 for investigation for 'Criminal'. Surendra Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher were interrogated. The irony of Pandey’s life was that when he was not trying to fight for justice, the entire system was with him; his bosses praised him, but the moment he decided to fight for the truth and follow the righteous path, it felt like the entire world went against him. Pandey was right, after all. In the fight between a cockroach and a shoe, the shoe always wins. He knew that, but still, he tried to fight the odds, and he had to pay the consequences of his actions in the end. As far as I know, this aspect of the story is completely fictional and isn’t inspired by the events of the Nithari killings. That said, there are many instances of police officers, in charge of investigating controversial cases, who were killed under mysterious circumstances. So, you can see Pandey’s unceremonious death as a reminder of how skewed our country’s sense of justice is.

Police botched up the investigations and court played ping pong between conviction and acquittal for years on technical grounds and hints of social justice. Seemed like power struggle between judges.
At the end justice was not served and whole story ended in tragedy.
