It is May 21, 2021 and I was in my early 20s when I watched Felicity. After all day studying, I always came home to watch this series. I loved Felicity, Keri Russell and Ben, Scott Speedman and Noel, Scott Foley. The entire show was so relatable in my 20s and even now at 38, I still feel so drawn to this show, all the episodes and the cast. I wish I had lifelong University friends as they did. I miss being 20-22, best time in my life. True, genuine sincere friends. Thank you J.J Abrams and Felicity for this show. From Alberta, Canada I love this show!!
All the good shows were in the 90s, Charmed, Ally Mcbeal, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore girls.. I miss that era, the music & the tv shows were so good wish I'd appreciated it more
I'm currently watching the whole series again, starting from the pilot. The last time I saw the series was when it first aired. I truly miss the 90s. I was a junior in 99, so this show was very relatable. Thanks for the great memories Felicity. #goodtimes

Me too. Just binge-watched the 1st season this weekend. I haven't watched this sestiere since it originally aired in the 90's and I was in High School. So far I remembered very little from the 1st season but I loved this show back then. The feelings remain the same - it just brings back so much nostalgia. I was team Ben, then on to Noel. Now, I am obsessed with ELI who was the sweetest, hottest, gentle artist. He was available to her. He cared for her. Ben will never be true.
He was constantly lurking around her. Kissing her when she was relationship. Sleeping when she was in relationship. They are both same people. Felicity stalks Ben and Noel stalks felicity.
Ben only cheated on Feilcity once, in the time jump. I don't agree with it but Felicity cheated on Ben too with Noel and emotionally cheated on Noel with Ben. She wasn't innocent. Noel also cheated on Hanna with Felicity and on Felicity with Hanna.@@JT-gi8rx
Noel wasn't a good guy though. We were supposed to think he was but he went after Felicity while he had a girlfriend, dropped Felicity because he was confused about Hanna, slut shamed Felicity when she slept with Eli, always kept trying to break up Felicity and Ben, was only friend with Felicity because he wanted more and was creepy in that Tyra Banks storyline. He also only went after girls he thought he could save.
Her chemistry with Ben was off the charts and let’s face it the fact that the actors dated each other and are still best friends proves it. Noel was nice but a bit too “ nice” hr lacked chemistry with Felicity. They definitely were only meant to be friends. I think Ben was just too young and would mature and never cheat on her again.
When they shot that last scene, what they were doing was really saying their goodbyes to each other. If you look close, everyone is really crying. I love everything about this show!! ❤
@Kristine Santa. You are correct. I read an interview that said "Sean" was saying goodbye to the cast and crew because he knew the dialogue would not air. So it had most of them crying because his words were very touching
Ok, so here’s my take on this: Felicity loves Ben but she also loves Noel. Felicity also has an obsession with Ben that she has nursed since high school. Obsession is a very powerful thing. Felicity eventually grew to love Ben when she actually got to know him by becoming his friend and dating him. Felicity’s obsession with Ben coupled with her love for him is the reason why she will always choose Ben over Noel who I believe is actually a better partner for her than Ben.
The whole show I was so annoyed with Ben and couldn’t ever figure out why felicity liked him or thought it was a good idea to be with him. Ugh so annoying. Especially where he cheated again at the end. I hope he doesn’t keep being a cheater in imagination felicity land 😂
Felicity was the one who cheated first, first episode of season 4 after the summer when Ben came back from training to become an EMT,that's Fecility slept with Noel on the loft roof and Ben found out in episode 6 and broke up with Fecility and got with Lauren his father's sober companion and got her pregnant,then Fecility and Ben got back together and was to move to Arizona so Ben can be with his child but Fecility wanted to stay in New York so can go to medical school and Ben decided to stay and go to medical school too and Ben ended up cheating with a med student and they broke up again and Fecility started wondering what would life be like if she chose to be with Noel instead of Ben so Megan put a spell on Felicity sending her back in time where she make the choice to be Noel and she found things was even worse being with Noel so wanted to go back in time where everything was there was and got back together with Ben, if you already know all this you know all that happened

I remember bawling during this scene. I think it was the first time I'd cried that hard at a TV show ending. I was also so bummed she didn't end up with Scott Foley's character. 😢
One of the things I did really like about this triangle, is Noel freaking moves on from Felicity. He moves on and finds real lasting love of his own. They didn't leave him pining and longing for her, he got to move on with his life and find happiness and love himself.

There's nothing like a 90's TV show to bring friends together & end it the way you wanted them to end the show. Felicity & Ben were supposed to be together, there wasn't any other option. That was it & I was happy the way they ended it.
Okay, I know all about the explanation for Elena being alive, but they really should have included those scenes in the episode. Because when you're watching this, if you don't know that background, you're like what the heck when you see that Elena is randomly not only alive, but back with Tracy to boot.
Just remembering why I adore this couple so much. Maybe partly because of the fact that Keri and Scott S also fell for one another during the making of this show but most definitely for the magic that they creating in making Felicity and Ben such a gorgeous, special and memorable couple. The thing for me that makes FaB so great and different from many tv couples that were before them and ones that have been on since them is when you see Felicity and Ben realise their deep love for each other, it never ever leaves them. Yes they have their problems and break up and cheat on each other however they can never let each other truly go and as Felicity said there is a force between them that is makes them tethered to one another. For Ben to have written that beautiful message in Felicity's yearbook was because even though they really didn't know each other at high school and yet he was still compelled to write something as heartfelt as that could only mean she stirred something inside of him even from afar. And in doing what he did means to me that he also like Felicity was brave enough to do something that was to change his life like she did when she decided to go to New York. That is why they were always meant for each other. (Damn, I need to get the series on DVD!)

I realize I'm the unpopular opinion here, but I'm glad that Felicity ended up with Ben. I hated Noel since season 1. I never understood the appeal. Noel was boring. Noel & Felicity were boring together. IRL a guy like Noel is stable, rational, and safe. Unfortunately, none of those things make for good TV. I feel like the constant chase, challenge, and push/pull of Felicity & Ben is what made them popular. So, I am Team Ben through and through

This was my roommate and I favorite show to watch.We could relate to just about every show. It was our first year in college as well. I so miss those days.... (I still say Noel should have been her first, but hey ish happens)

Even though this was only a little part of the finale, it brought a great memory of watching felicity. My heart ached that it ended. I want to watch a reunion.
Still one of my fav shows of all time!!!Even after all these years I still go back and forth about who she should have ended up with. Noel was definitely the nicer guy who treated her better, but she clearly was more in love with Ben from the very beginning even though he was never that great to her. I guess my younger self used to always root for her and Ben, but now that I’m older I feel like Noel would have been better for her in the long run.
Ahhh I miss this show. Team Ben for life. Noel was obviously the safer choice. She could've been happy with him but Ben challenged her. He loved her stronger than Noel ever did and they just fit. I was very happy with the ending. And PS what a bummer that the syndicated version has changed the ending song. So much more powerful with I Will Remember You.

I liked Ben/Felicity and Noel/Felicity but it was clear to me this series was going to end with Ben/Felicity. She loved them both but what she had with Noel couldn't hold a candle to what she felt for Ben. She moved across the freaking country and changed schools for this dude. Noel and Felicity never really worked for me. He was the R.A. and responsible for keeping the dorm and students in line and helping them. It was always a little skeevy that he tried to date her while he was her R.A. he should have been fired lol. They were way better friends than bf/gf. Felicity and Ben were magical together. They had their problems but when it was good....it was amazing. That chemistry and love only comes along once in a lifetime and they had it in spades.
I'm glad Kery & Ben end up together. From the beginning graduations till the end the season's. Now this days was smallville, walking dead, games of thrones.
9/11 /01 was the day that I stopped watching Felicity on WB. Life in NYC stopped on this day. A very traumatic time in NYC. And now, 9/9/20 magically saw this collection of Felicity videos. I traveled 20 years back, reconstructing Felicity's journey. Ben or Noel? I'm not surprised she chose Ben.
the entire series is on disney+ now, but sadly this iconic ending song does not play in the final scene. I think quite a bit of the original music is gone. dumb how old shows can't keep the music.
Felicity and Ben - two people sleeping together. Felicity and Noel - best friends and soulmates. She made the wrong choice. She (and the writers apparently) was so enamored by the idea of being with her high school crush that she passed on someone who could have made her much happier. If we were to see these characters today and now in their mid 30s, Felicity and Noel would either have gotten together at some point or she would be wishing she was with him.

There were two endings. The network gave them two different possible numbers of episodes to work toward for season 4. They had her graduate for the first possible ending date. Then they were given more episodes, so they did an alternative ending.
I didn’t start watching the show until their senior year was on in 2001 or 2002. Went back after it was done and watched the other seasons. The good old days!
I just finished watching this series and I didn't really enjoy the ending, Im going to give my two cent here. I really believed that Felicity and Noel were meant for each other, they're relationship was just genuine it wasn't as forced like ben's was. Her and ben were basically a heavy attraction to one another as noel was more of her like destined soulmate which she kept ignoring. I get it, they wanted felicity to end up with ben just like how the show began her chasing him to New York. Even though the show was maturing Ben as the seasons went on he was still Ben, when things got tough he would pull away, or get a fight or do something stupid. It would show him apologizing to felicity the very next day, this felt like it was happening every other episode like a skipping record him saying "Im Sorry" way too many times. Eventually its like grow up man, I felt like felicity was addicted to ben just like that one girl was addicted to her junkie boyfriend. Even though they ended together her and ben in the series finally, I really believe they wouldnt have made it far in real life. They would of broke up eventually, Problems always seemed to come up for those two. And eventually Felicity thinking she made the wrong choice in choosing ben over noel just like in the time travel episodes. But Im glad Noel ended up with Zoe, The guy deserved his happiness because at times I feel Felicity didn't deserve Noel after it was all said and done.

I read a fan fiction story one time where they ended up together becauseo Ben cheated on her again. But I didn’t like what happened to make him leave Zoey. I just assumed that the only thing that was real in the last 5 episodes was the fact that Felicity was mad at Ben. I assumed everything else (including Elena's death) was part of her time travel dream/hallucination due to high fever. For Ben to kiss the study partner seemed so off the storyline. They went through so much. No way her do that. Ben and Felicity are my favorite TV couple ever. He’s a better man with her.
There's nothing like a 90's TV show to bring friends together & end it the way you wanted them to end the show. Felicity & Ben were supposed to be together, there wasn't any other option. That was it & I was happy the way they ended it.

Okay, I know all about the explanation for Elena being alive, but they really should have included those scenes in the episode. Because when you're watching this, if you don't know that background, you're like what the heck when you see that Elena is randomly not only alive, but back with Tracy to boot.
Just remembering why I adore this couple so much. Maybe partly because of the fact that Keri and Scott S also fell for one another during the making of this show but most definitely for the magic that they creating in making Felicity and Ben such a gorgeous, special and memorable couple.
The thing for me that makes FaB so great and different from many tv couples that were before them and ones that have been on since them is when you see Felicity and Ben realise their deep love for each other, it never ever leaves them. Yes they have their problems and break up and cheat on each other however they can never let each other truly go and as Felicity said there is a force between them that is makes them tethered to one another.
For Ben to have written that beautiful message in Felicity's yearbook was because even though they really didn't know each other at high school and yet he was still compelled to write something as heartfelt as that could only mean she stirred something inside of him even from afar. And in doing what he did means to me that he also like Felicity was brave enough to do something that was to change his life like she did when she decided to go to New York.
That is why they were always meant for each other.

I realize I'm the unpopular opinion here, but I'm glad that Felicity ended up with Ben. I hated Noel since season 1. I never understood the appeal. Noel was boring. Noel & Felicity were boring together. IRL a guy like Noel is stable, rational, and safe. Unfortunately, none of those things make for good TV. I feel like the constant chase, challenge, and push/pull of Felicity & Ben is what made them popular. So, I am Team Ben through and through

This was my roommate and I favorite show to watch.We could relate to just about every show. It was our first year in college as well. I so miss those days.... (I still say Noel should have been her first, but hey ish happens)

Still one of my fav shows of all time!!!Even after all these years I still go back and forth about who she should have ended up with. Noel was definitely the nicer guy who treated her better, but she clearly was more in love with Ben from the very beginning even though he was never that great to her. I guess my younger self used to always root for her and Ben, but now that I’m older I feel like Noel would have been better for her in the long run.
Ahhh I miss this show. Team Ben for life. Noel was obviously the safer choice. She could've been happy with him but Ben challenged her. He loved her stronger than Noel ever did and they just fit. I was very happy with the ending. And PS what a bummer that the syndicated version has changed the ending song. So much more powerful with I Will Remember You.

I liked Ben/Felicity and Noel/Felicity but it was clear to me this series was going to end with Ben/Felicity. She loved them both but what she had with Noel couldn't hold a candle to what she felt for Ben. She moved across the freaking country and changed schools for this dude. Noel and Felicity never really worked for me. He was the R.A. and responsible for keeping the dorm and students in line and helping them. It was always a little skeevy that he tried to date her while he was her R.A. he should have been fired lol. They were way better friends than bf/gf. Felicity and Ben were magical together. They had their problems but when it was good....it was amazing. That chemistry and love only comes along once in a lifetime and they had it in spades.

9/11 /01 was the day that I stopped watching Felicity on WB. Life in NYC stopped on this day. A very traumatic time in NYC. And now, 9/9/20 magically saw this collection of Felicity videos. I traveled 20 years back, reconstructing Felicity's journey. Ben or Noel? I'm not surprised she chose Ben.

the entire series is on disney+ now, but sadly this iconic ending song does not play in the final scene. I think quite a bit of the original music is gone. dumb how old shows can't keep the music.
Felicity and Ben - two people sleeping together. Felicity and Noel - best friends and soulmates. She made the wrong choice. She (and the writers apparently) was so enamored by the idea of being with her high school crush that she passed on someone who could have made her much happier. If we were to see these characters today and now in their mid 30s, Felicity and Noel would either have gotten together at some point or she would be wishing she was with him.
Likely she would not end up with either of them by her thirties. She'd be bored with Noel, and Ben would have left for greener pastures.
Why does Hulu play a different song for this scene?
DYE9 some of the original music from the versions that aired on The WB made it to the DVDs, but it’s very expensive to license that music so they change it for streaming.

There were two endings. The network gave them two different possible numbers of episodes to work toward for season 4. They had her graduate for the first possible ending date. Then they were given more episodes, so they did an alternative ending.

I just finished watching this series and I didn't really enjoy the ending, Im going to give my two cent here. I really believed that Felicity and Noel were meant for each other, they're relationship was just genuine it wasn't as forced like ben's was. Her and ben were basically a heavy attraction to one another as noel was more of her like destined soulmate which she kept ignoring. I get it, they wanted felicity to end up with ben just like how the show began her chasing him to New York. Even though the show was maturing Ben as the seasons went on he was still Ben, when things got tough he would pull away, or get a fight or do something stupid. It would show him apologizing to felicity the very next day, this felt like it was happening every other episode like a skipping record him saying "Im Sorry" way too many times. Eventually its like grow up man, I felt like felicity was addicted to ben just like that one girl was addicted to her junkie boyfriend. Even though they ended together her and ben in the series finally, I really believe they wouldnt have made it far in real life. They would of broke up eventually, Problems always seemed to come up for those two. And eventually Felicity thinking she made the wrong choice in choosing ben over noel just like in the time travel episodes. But Im glad Noel ended up with Zoe, The guy deserved his happiness because at times I feel Felicity didn't deserve Noel after it was all said and done.

I used to want to be Felicity when the show was originally airing but now I would want to be Zoey. I have more in common with her than I did with Felicity. I guess I agree with you. I don’t know. I read a fan fiction story one time where they ended up together becauseo Ben cheated on her again. But I didn’t like what happened to make him leave Zoey. I had a huge crush on Scott Foley and they picked the perfect actor to be Ben too but he just had way too many issues.

I just assumed that the only thing that was real in the last 5 episodes was the fact that Felicity was mad at Ben. I assumed everything else (including Elena's death) was part of her time travel dream/hallucination due to high fever.
