I am not sure if you consider the required bandwidth of the core switch per port. What is the bandwidth of the port which is connected to the cameras switch at the access level??? 16 camera out through one port....

31:06 a 'hop' is classified as a jump to a separate network. I.e. everytime a paket passes through a router, bridge or gateway, not every time the frame passes between switches and routers. This can be very confusing when new people are listening to this.

25:17 80130 is an invalid port. The best practice is not to use port-forward but use a VPN

Sorry, cant give you a thumb up when u are recomending better to use a network 'as flat as possible'. Well, for house will be ok, not for an office. Cheers.

Near the beginning of the video he said this video is best practices for SOHO installations with 50-100 devices. He isn't advocating a flat network for a larger installation. My issue with flat network in a home environment, is being able to have adequate separation for security of IOT devices and/of a guest network from the general device population.

Enrique Aguilar care to explain why a flat network isn’t recommended?
