Jake cracks me up! Calls his dad a wimp, wades off in a swampy creek barefooted, and you never know what’s going to come out of his mouth. That apple didn’t fall far from the tree!
THAT WAS SO COOL WITH THE KIDS TEACHING THEM HOW TO SURVIVE IS THE BEST EVER..I CANT WATE TO SO SEE WHAT YOU A ND MISS KELLY DO NEXT.. THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.
As a kid we grew up in the woods, playing in the creeks and swamps. I still love exploring in all those areas. Those boys are living life right. This was an awesome video.
Honey! I'm 75 and the very reason I subscribed is because of this video! I was raised in the Florida Everglades, and flat land that it is, it it teaming with great discoveries for children! I just loved seeing your kids do their thing, cause I did it too! I guess the old saying is true! You can take a person out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the person!
My kids are about the same age...when they're on an adventure...they are 10 ft tall, and bullet-proof! Great job with the boys, Gabe!!! And yet, another awesome video, and message...Thanks!
Always loved playing in creeks and the Au Sable river, here in Michigan. The banks of the river and creeks are layered with sand and clay and earth, and every time it'd rain, we kids would rush out to look for any arrowheads and other stone artifacts that would wash out. We also hunted agates, and chert, and crawdads, and mom stuffed fish with wild watercress and ramps, butter, salt and pepper, wrapped in foil, and baked. Thanks for the memories. Love watching your dear boys and their friends.
Thank you for this video. Watching you and your kids and their friends have fun exploring and being outsdoorsy has put a smile on my face in these dark times. I really appreciate it. It's clear that you're a great co-parent with your kids' mom and I think that speaks highly to your whole fam.
That was my entire childhood , running the woods , making forts , catching anything and everything in the local creeks and small water holes in the woods , best time ever , this vid brings back memories
You are encouraging your boys to learn, grow, think for themselves and enjoy an outdoor adventure.Bless you and your boys. This is how we make America “great again”.
I loved this vid. It reminds me of when my son was small and he’d go to the creek to catch crawdads on pepperoni and hot dogs with a stick and string. One time he even cooked them because he knew I liked eating them. They we’re the best ones I’ve ever eaten. He’s now 23 and an awesome chef. Thanks for taking me down this memory lane.
That sense of adventure in every boy (and girl) never leaves you.....even when you get older. 😁😎👍❤️ And, thank God for it!!!! It keeps us young, & keeps us looking forward to the next adventure!!!! That 10 yr old boy in me is still alive and well in this 56 yr old!!!!! Always will be!!!! Great video, Gabe!!!! You're a great dad!!!! You and Kelly have a great trip to Boston with God's traveling mercies, buddy. God bless ya'll 🙏 and keep y'all safe 🙏. Look forward to seeing the adventures.👍😎😁🔥
Looks like a blast guys! Reminds me of my childhood....I spent half my life around the creek in my neighborhood. We'd wait until the creek almost dried up and would net fish that were stuck in the small pools. So much fun! Good eye for Luke seeing the claw marks!!
It's gotta be awesome to see the boys out there doing their own thing and catching stuff. I wish I had a cool place like that to play when I was their age. It so cool to see the young men playing with creatures that would probably scare other kids their age. Definitely need more videos featuring the boys. This was a great little video. Super glad you put it out! Enjoy Boston!
Brings me back to my childhood! Me and my buddies would be exploring the creek from sun up to sundown. I’m glad to see that it hasn’t been lost in the the new age of technology and what not. It makes me happy to see you raising your boys right Gabe, they’re good kids! Love from Lubbock, Tx. 💪
Of course we want to see more fish trapping with your kids videos. I lived at the creek across the street from my house growing up. Thx for y’all’s hard work to show us what goes on in yalls lives!
I'm sending this video to my daughter so she can show it to my grandsons 5 + 3 I wish we had a creek nearby where they live the only ones are fenced off with no access that's California for you
You guys videos views are about to rock you tube. Lots of chemistry going on. Complete Family oriented and you talk to the camera as if you were sitting right here with us. Keep the videos rollin my man
That would be florida not just south Florida. Maybe not nowadays though so many transplants Florida is turning into well I'm going to just leave that right there lol.
looks a great childhood his little men are getting and little dude was right that was no eel but an amphibian like mudpuppies or greater siren, great vid, reminded me of growing up in Cornwall, in the south of the uk.Good work everyone and thank you for sharing.
I lived in Florida almost my whole life. Except 6 months in Hawaii. Grew up playin creeks. Walking around barefoot. Swimming with gators in Myakka. Fishing. All kinds of fun. Funny story when I was a teen went skinny dippin in a creek that was full of poison oak all around. I was covered in red rashes. Never did that again. I’m 36 now. Glad to see you out with the kids enjoying beautiful Florida. Most people just think it’s beaches.
They're definitely in their element! I spent just about every day at the creek when I was growing up. I enjoy taking my son down to the creek when I have time.
I grew up with a similar size creek behind the house, if it was above 65 or so I was probably in that creek or out riding my gokart. I had about 27acres to roam around. Even had a small range for shooting my 22 and 410.
These are the memories these kids are going to have forever, good honest clean fun catching stuff in the creek. I wish more kids were being raised like Luke and Jake, there’s be more happy kids in the world. Have fun in Boston.
The "Eel" that you caught is actually a creature called a Caecilian they are amphibians, and they look like snakes and eels combined. I think that this is what Kelly was trying to say about it.
Grew up in the 60"s in Washington state. We were in the woods till it got dark or we got hungry. Now people call the police if they think parents shouldn't let there kids go to the park alone. I had a blast as a kid and when we got hurt it was part of the ride.
Grew up northern Georgia in the 60's with a creek on one side of the subdivision and a pond out back, it was great! better be home before the street lights came on!! Kids nowadays are missing out on so much!!
Camping and exploring the wilderness with my kids are the best memories that will last forever. Keep spittin out these 🔥 content BG! Cheers from SoCal USA!
Man this throws you back. I'm from Newport News Va and we used to hit the creeks all summer long. Catching everything possible. Once caught a baby cottonmouth barehanded. AWESOME VID MY BROTHA!!! SHOUT OUT TO JAKE. THAT LITTLE MAN IS A BEAST!!!

It's either a Greater or Lesser Siren. Very common in your area. You also have Two-Toed Amphiuma there. They burrow into the mud when the water dries up, so no surprise you caught one. Super cool find, thanks for sharing!
Have a great time in Boston Gabe. thank you for all of your insight and just so you know I got my canned cooker in the mail with the multi fuel burner. can’t wait to use it
reminds me of being a kid except i always came home with poison ivy all over and it would last for 2 weeks or more. Be careful kids, poison ivy is nasty
Best years growing up I would get my work / chores done, then head off to the creek! We ride horses bare back and act like we were exploring, catching crawdads, looking for arrow heads and fossils! Great life!
Hello BG, I'm really amazed that kids these days still play in creeks and the woods. I truly enjoyed this video to the point I watched it twice. The little one is adorable, they all are. 😀😀😀

I don’t comment on videos much, but when I saw this one it brought joy to my heart. This is what we need in the world today more fathers that introduce their children to nature, and just let them be kids. Even something as simple as a small creek can give kids adventure, self esteem, common sense, a bond with nature, and so much more. Gabe you are one of my favorites for this reason!!!
Growing up in the USVI in the 70`s the best part of Hurricane season was it filled up the creeks that were dry 95% of the time, I loved playing in drainage creeks as a kid, it was like the video game of it`s day.
You are such a great father. Spending quality time with your boys is priceless. Thanks for the amazing videos🥰

They're definitely in their element! I spent just about every day at the creek when I was growing up. I enjoy taking my son down to the creek when I have time.

Caeceilians are not found in Florida. It's a two-toed Amphiuma and they can deliver a nasty bite.
Absolutely love watching the kids catch and explore. Reminds me of when I used to explore in the Pacific Northwest for tadpoles.
