- 02-01-20 Took a drive to Whitehall WI. today. Unfortunately I have not been getting out as much this winter. On this flight I got a strange audible warning I was entering into restricted air space. The warning was in Chinese. Fortunately it also came up as a written warning in English on my screen so I could understand it. I don't believe I was near a restricted air space and was able to fly in the area without any more warnings. Must be a software bug. This is a nice little town with beautiful hills surrounding it. The temperature was great at 33 degrees F. I did have to brighten up the video as it turned out too dark with the clouds in the sky. Turned out to be a nice relaxing day. Do Something nice for someone today.
Update 02-06-20 DJI has issued a software update for a bug fix. I would be willing to bet it will fix the audio alarm spoken in Chinese and the error in restricted air space. - Розваги
Not bad, I never thought about the courthouse no fly zone.
I think it was a glitch on a new no fly zone update I did before I came up. It is not listed on the FAA B4UFLY app.
I think thats restricted air space because of the courthouse and sheriffs department that your drone was about to fly over.
The strange thing is I got the warning in Chinese verbally, but it was spelled in English on the screen. I was also able to fly past the area I was stopped the first time the second time. I'm thinking it was a software glitch.
@@OnTheEdgeNow The 2nd time you flew past, your drone was across the street from the court house complex. So I think the block with the courthouse, sheriffs department and jail is a no fly zone. Its funny how they warn you in Chinese.
@@markovichsteve5823 I looked on the B4UFLY app and it does not show any restricted air space in Whitehall. If I get back in that area I will try it again and see if it is repeatable.
@@OnTheEdgeNow on the west side of town is Ashley and the school, both are massive buildings.
@@commentor3485 Interesting, I didn't know Ashley was in Whitehall.
