Can't wait to see the 100th episode " turning my car into an airplane " haha. You actually make me like all of these video, usually I don't like these car videos but yours are so interesting, always learning some nice stuff
Yea this is what I plan on doing with my switch when I saw it was too bright. I even tried tapping into the dimmer circuit but the button light would stay lit when everything was off strangely.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching Try tapping into the light off another switch. I don't know how new your car is, but in my truck, the dimmer switch only tells the computer what to do.
Impressed bro, been watching you for years, thought all you did was destroy phones and bend iPads but I've been recently exposed to all the other things you're doing too, loved the bike for Camry and the in house lift... You guys have a wonderful relationship
I suddenly found myself looking for more similar car videos, because these are really entertaining and remind me of the time when I used to jerryrig everyting fun and stupid for my first own car. Nowadays I don't even have a car, just a bicycle (Y)
Main thing I would have done differently was solder the connection you spliced into. Then used heat-shrink tubing to finish it off (over the electrical tape).
Manual Tacoma!!! SO nice! I want to buy one of those used after I graduate. I'm wishing that it depreciates so I can actually afford it even though I know it won't cause it's a Toyota but I can hope. Unfortunately so few people buy standard anymore so finding the right one second hand will probably be impossible!
Here's a optional tip. You can wire the relay so the high beam stem can operate the lightbar easier instead of looking for the switch. On the relay, take terminal 85 and tap into your high beam wire. 86 to ground from your switch. 30 to B+ and 87 to lightbar. The only drawback is that the highbeams will on with lightbar, but the switch is the override and will control the lightbar so you can only have the highbeams on .
This is a great idea. Do you have any videos or documentation to further explain/illustrate what you are suggesting regarding tapping off your existing High Beam stem while using the switch as the main on/off control for the light bar to luminate? Great stuff - many thanks!
out of all the millions of LED bar videos I've seen, even including the LED bar manufacturer's videos, yours is the only one that actually shows just how much more the LED bar lights up! not just brightness, but in terms of coverage. All other videos have NEVER convinced me to buy a bar, but yours has! for sure!
Just a tip with the cheap light bar wiring harnesses with that type of connector, take two VERY small flat head screwdrivers and carefully push down the tab that's in the connector, and use the other screwdriver to push the wire out, a whole lot easier than taking something an inch wide through a tight piece of rubber. Did that once already with a cheapy 44" bar and bought a SPod a few months ago and love it, makes wiring up lights and other items much simpler. Would highly recommend. Just in my opinion.
Damn. Zack. I used to think that I love your other channel a lot but now honestly I love this channel more. I love the way you have modified your Tacoma. Looking forward to more modifications and videos. 😁👍
Haha man that little wire we tapped into was like doing surgery! Glad we got it done though, that light bar is sweet! Let’s compare my 32” bumper bar to yours.
I plan on buying a tacoma truck in the future, I would pretty much do the same thing as yours, maybe not the honeycomb design but something similar and wentch/led light I would do the same and the color of the truck I want is either the one in the vid or the tanish brown sandish one lol, idk whats it called
Replace your halogen bulbs with LED bulbs to match the light bar. It also adds extra visibility on roads at night where light bars aren't allowed to be on
@8:12 you can tell he HAD to test his windshield to see the scratch resistance .... you know very well just by looking at those cracks those are scratches at a level. 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7
How did you spooled it while adding tension with a 1000 pound weight? Why is the bumper hanging low on the passenger side? Tanks for making great videos.
Zack you should upgrade to LED low and high beam headlight bulbs for that truck, Lasfit lighting have really good lights, since you have projector headlights the cut off will be the same as stock halogen bulbs so no blinding other people, it would make the front end of the truck look more like 2019 and not 1930, also there would be no color difference between headlights and the led bar which i think is better when you use both at the same time
Great video, i'll be wiring the same buttons from CH4x4 for a light bar and raptor lights. My question is, where is that dash light wire to have the button lights come on with every other button light?
Just picked up my 2019 Tacoma on Thursday. 👍 I have the same oem roof rack as you. So did you decide to scrap the light bar over the windshield idea? Are you just gonna go with the bumper bar. Curious because I was looking for an install video for the upper bar on the oem rack and can't find one. Thanks.
Hi Zack, Great job with the light bar. It totally blends in with the looks of the toyota. I was just wondering - normally bright headlights do cause te pupils to constrict to some degree but it's designed to be an acceptable limit. When an extra LED bar is added, it obviously would cause the pupils to constrict a little more and it probably will be ok with LED bar you have on. Just as a food for thought, how would it be if a super bright LED bar was made with red light. That way it might be easier on the eyes to accustom and de-accustom to the bright light. Just a suggestion, how about a red LED test - or maybe just a transparent red cover. Cheers
LED light bars are supposed to be linked up with your high beam on your main lights so they only come on when you switch your high beam on, not as a seperate light.
Maybe it's better to chose the USB Port instead of the PDC Button, because the USB Port (also fuse) is meant for high current. Or is it just like a small Signal to the relay?
Much easier to remove the radio (let it hang out) and reach down into the radio hole to push out the caps and route the cables for the new switch. Done it many times.
I have a tacoma and I am about to throw some ditch lights, underglow, interior glow and rock lights I haven’t tried to install any of the lights yet because I have no idea where to start. Could I get some advice on these.....not trying to mess up hahaha
Congratulations Agent 47 now you have unlocked night vision for your mission vehicle
I don't know anything about trucks but I'm actually enjoying watching these videos

It's his voice. :) He makes any subject interesting.
7:44 If you put a resistor in series with the light switch, it could make it dimmer
Stephen Netter Nope, that wouldn't work because switch is just controlling a relay, power to light bar is going directly through battery.
Nano Mine I think he was talking about the switch’s lights not the light bar.
09Mrsubaru Oh, makes sense. That's possible.
Yea this is what I plan on doing with my switch when I saw it was too bright. I even tried tapping into the dimmer circuit but the button light would stay lit when everything was off strangely.

looks amazing. Now replace your factory halogen headlights with some high quality xenon to match the "whiteness" of your led bar and you're done!
Gta V mods

Honestly, the Tacoma has the highest resale value out there. You're almost better off saving your money longer, and just buying new.
Zack this vids are actually soo interesting imo. Can’t wait to see what you do next for the truck!

Those switches are legit!!!! I have 5 of them in my rig. PERFECT fit and solid as hell. They feel solid like factory. CH4x4 is amazing.
Loving the car-related videos on this channel! Keep up the great work :)
I literally laughed out loud when you turned on the light bar. Im sure the camera doesnt even pick up how bright it actually was. WOW
You're truck is so clean! I LOVE it!
The best video I've found on this subject!
That other guy is awesome! Funny, easy to listen to, and knows his stuff lmao
Yeah just like chrisfix :D
LED bar is super impressive
Mr. Badass back at it again with them badass videos.
Why would this video hav thumbs down? Video was very intuitive. Very helpful

You are living in a so sweet place man
Damn. Zack. I used to think that I love your other channel a lot but now honestly I love this channel more. I love the way you have modified your Tacoma. Looking forward to more modifications and videos. 😁👍
*Added to playlist of "Future Tacoma Mods" haha. Always making great vids Zack!
You dont have playlists.
You only the guy I see that buy a thing and same day it make a parts.
The lights really help the peripheral vision.
Haha man that little wire we tapped into was like doing surgery! Glad we got it done though, that light bar is sweet! Let’s compare my 32” bumper bar to yours.
Hey braxen. Don't worry. I ain't gonna unsubscribe you. Keep up the good work. ✌️
Vishnu Prasaath S Thats what I’m talking about! Thanks man! I appreciate the support! 👊🏼
Love your videos man👍
Braxen McConnell did you guys use a t tap? Or go in the hard way 💀

"8:14" is the front glass broken?

As always, great video!
I always soter splices when there is no connectors & I would suggest you do too. I have problems when I have not.
love your truck great work guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love these videos man

Hi zack... your biggest fan from Kerala,India
Ashik Eapen Mathews y'all okay buddy?
@@FunScientifix yeah..... safe now.... gods grace.
Are you able to turn on the led lights without the key in the ignition? I assume so based on your video.
Awesome vid jerry keep it up the Tacoma is so beautiful 😍🔥

Wow Big difference!
Are you going to mouse proof it?
Are you gonna ever install light bar on top?

Great video! But would that not void the warranty?

You need to do one of the led headlight kits
Hi Zack,
Great job with the light bar. It totally blends in with the looks of the toyota.

Nice Vid, thnx for the help showing how its done...
Great job guys
Why didn't you just pop blank out and fish wire though? Just did light bar on my 2020 and worked great with factory button to replace.
Now you can see the ghost that tried to attack you xD
A caveat to lightbars and foglights is that legally, in some areas, you have to have the auxiliary lights turn off when the high beams are on.
So is taking off the center console not necessary? I too need to use the same exact slot for my led bar.
Cars is getting better and better im! What degress is this car able to drive like an V8 landcruiser is able to 45 degrees step?
LED light bars are supposed to be linked up with your high beam on your main lights so they only come on when you switch your high beam on, not as a seperate light.

U should put in led headlights as well
hey Zack, is your windshield cracked?
Much easier to remove the radio (let it hang out) and reach down into the radio hole to push out the caps and route the cables for the new switch. Done it many times.
Great video! If you needed to extend the wires from the closest switch which gage and type of wire would you use?
Watch out for the drop bears in thoes trees! 🤣
I have a tacoma and I am about to throw some ditch lights, underglow, interior glow and rock lights I haven’t tried to install any of the lights yet because I have no idea where to start. Could I get some advice on these.....not trying to mess up hahaha
You should get a switch pro makes wiring and switches much easier
Y didn't u hook it up the high beam?
Looks good bro .. 🤘
No video showing icon suspension?
Nice but would be even nicer if you showed how to get that wire through the firewall.
So when is the burn test coming?
well thats all cool but does it scratch at a level 6 with a deeper grooves at level 7?
I want to see Zack put up some concealed machine guns and homing missiles in the Tacoma
8:12 your windshield is already cracked bro? Nice
I wonder what it looks like with just the LED light bar
Good video but you should have really soldered those wires and used some heatshrink to insulate them!
Did you crack your windscreen already?
Does it effect your car warranty
looks great!
Are you still gonna install light bar on to the roof rack??
Looks cool
Dream cars:
Tesla
Ford raptor
Toyota Tacoma
That’s top 3
Is it turbo charged
Very helpful in dark
Hey guys JerryFix here!😎
Moral: LEDs are bright
🔥
You should install led headlights
hey Zack any chance of video on jammed brake piston of Disc Brakes of motorbikes and how to fix it
I need to know more about that winch/ bumper. Did you cover that in a different video?
That must render that Taco pretty unstoppable.
Love it!
Hey, do you have a video of the height difference before and after the low profile winch bumper install?
Is the windshield broken at 8:35?
it is good but it would have been way cooler if you mounted it on the gear shifter's top thus turning it on and off with thumb
you got to upgrade the headlights to hid
Why does the bumper look crooked? There's a gap on the left if you're looking the the Tacoma.
do more explanation with the intricate processes .. or time-lapse.. it will be more knowledgeable for us
Hey Zack! Have you ever thought about installing struts for the hood/bonnet?
Are you still giving away the new iPhone XS
