Father Merrin takes nitroglycerin pills because he has heart problems, not anxiety. That's how he dies later in the film, from heart attack because the exorcism was too much on him. He was taking more pills than usual during the exorcism because of how bad his chest was hurting which in turn accelerated his heart attack.

The doctor "Psychiatry is not my field. Have some ritalin and dont call a psych doctor for a few weeks' lol wha
I don't think that the statue was directly related to the possession(s) - father Merrin did not "released" the demon or anything, this part of the movie was just to make clear that there was a past between him and the demon
Pazuzu is physically strong enough to easily overpower full grown humans and twist a mans head completely around but cant break out the ropes tying it to the bed xd
The strongest demons/ghosts are powerless against things like ropes or closed doors.
@vikaziza1506 he can snap a mans neck by twisting it completely around but he can't untie himself or open a door? Xd
If Pazuzu wanted untied they would use the safe word.
@@ZObliteration bruh 😂
He did break the ropes at the time it would have the best effect. Also the whole point was to break their wills and rob them of their faith.
Plz do how to beat jeepers creepers 😁
I had a situation like this a few years ago, and where I used a dreamcatcher and kept having nightmares and deeply sad emotions and when I told my parents, I found it promptly binned the next night 😂
He said “take me” before she snatched the medallion.
I am a healthy skeptic in the supernatural, I am open minded to look into the supernatural if something that cant be explained pops up, but my number one rule is to instantly go pyro at the sight of a oijia board. I am not saying that an oijia board is instantly bad news, but why in the world mess with one if it is true?? Like why test to see if a gun is loaded by pulling the trigger??
Some people are stupid.
Yes, people who are rebellious for no reason other than to be rebellious, are stupid.
Hi How to Beat I love this and I hope you have a damn good day
The house doesn't exist, but you can see the stairs in Georgetown. Seriously creepy.
youd be the best teamate in any deathgame
So this was where the famous scary image came from
after watching this video for a lil bit i remembered i watched this movie when i was like 10, cant believe people were actually scared of this, 5 years later and watching the other they are alright, still good moves tho
Ah hell nah. If that happened I would be gone real fast
Yea, screw the kid. I'm out
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 exactly
Binging the entire HTB playlist and I don't wanna be "that" person but the rat in Ratatouilles' name is Remy - i'm often surprised to find how many don't know that.
pazuzu's throwing hands now 🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
yes the pea soup demon
A NERVE DISORDER. REALLY?!?! HOW IS THAT A NERVE DISORDER???!!! MAYBE JUST MAYBE YOU COULD PLAY IT OFF AS TICS OR TOURETTES BUT STILL THE KID IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT SHES SAYING AND NOT DOING ANYTHING THAT WOULD MAKE SOMEONE “Yk what?? I bet she isn’t meaning to do this”. OMG!!
AND THEN WHAT KIND OF NERVE DISORDER, HUH?!?! GOOD G0D
God I just reread this comment. I was PISSED
@@KSttt-ck9wv Rightfully so. I mean, considering how ignorant people were during those times, I guess we can't really blame them. But still, to pass something like that off as just some disorder is mind-numbingly dumb.
Point # 3 the 1973 version doesn't have the Spiderwalk in it. Plus, Dennings was a sloppy drunk
I thought Pazuzu was your friendly drug dealer looking for a quick cloud 10 sale!
i wonder who is more powerfull between pazuzu the exorcist or valak from the nun?
*coming this Halloween*
The Exorcist Nun: Revenge of Pazuzu
If we just go on the movies their about even. Both can control people, manifest full body apparition's, and use specific powers against people.
However, if you use the real mythology and lore I'd give it to Pazuzu. Pazuzu is almost like a deity rather considering how venerated he was. Valak is often listed as a Goetia demon, which while powerful, means he has to be summoned first and can be controlled, ala Key of Solomon.
Um dude you need to educate yourself better, a PCP can prescribe psych meds. They may suggest you see a psych Dr. But will do so.
Ok here's how to solve the problem from the beginning:
LEAVE STUFF ALONE AND STOP TAKING STUFF THAT DON'T BRLONG TO YOU... ESPECIALLY IN ANOTHER COUNTRY PALM PEOPLE 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂
I’m going with God 😂❤
They will never make horror movies like this anymore. The methods William Blatty used to make a good movie. The studio’s don’t allow it. They’d rather just make safe by the numbers tried & tested movies which we’ve all seen before. The only horror movies worth watching are independent movies.
