Itzy Gold is just the Dem Joinz effect. LOL You've seen NCT's Sticker and Dem Joinz did that one as well. There are others, but it isn't uncommon for a jarring Kpop song to be his work.

Yes! I was hoping for the girlies! (which is really not that surprising, since I'm always looking out for more girl group content 😅) This is a great introduction to tripleS. They are a 24 member group, with lots of subunits. Not many fashion analysis/remarks this time. I guess you just wanted to enjoy things, which is nice too. I don't think there's an official explanation of how to pronounce VIVIZ in English. Like, it's written with the Latin/Roman alphabet, so Koreans will pronounce that their way, and English-speakers will pronounce it their way. So, of course, you're free to choose whatever. Buuut, I still wanted to at least inform you that in Korean, they pronounce it as "BBG" [bee-bee-djee], since it comes from their individual names (eunBI, eunBI, umJI). In Korean, they don't have a "v" and pronounce it as "b" (I think Spanish does this as well). So, in my opinion, the closest we can get to the Korean pronunciation, while respecting their choice of how the name is written, would be: VVZ [vee-vee-zee].
The Living Legends aka TWICE just don’t miss and then add Megan THE Stallion to the mix and you got a wicked banger on your hands!! VIVIZ has been steadily killing it with hit after hit after hit!! I’m proud of those girls especially since they have gone through so much BS and heartache. I totally feel you about ITZY. I absolutely love those girls to death and have supported them religiously buying each comeback. ICY, WANNABE, DOLLA DOLLA, NOT SHY were my travel songs!! I live for those bangers 🙌🙌 IMO I feel that their management team within JYPE either changed personnel or lost focus bcuz everything pretty much suddenly changed after the aforementioned bangers. IMO I feel that most of their title tracks were more suited for their younger sister group, NMIXX. IMO The ITZY ladies should be using a more mature, powerful and dare I say, sexy concept bcuz I feel that’s who they are. But regardless I will always support them since they are apart of the JYP NATION. Speaking of the JYP NATION.. NATTY of KISS OF LIFE was almost apart of TWICE. She competed in SIXTEEN w/JYP back when she was a trainee at JYPE. She was 13 back then and even though she didn’t make the final cut to be chosen to be a member of TWICE, NATTY never once made anyone think that she would never debut somewhere bcuz even at such a young age that girl had some serious talent!! So even though she’s not apart of the JYP NATION anymore I’ll think of her as part of the family so I’ll always support her and the group. She is the whole reason I got into KISS OF LIFE. Now onto TRIPLE S. This actually was my introduction to them and DAMN they’re really good!! I dig that dreamy sound they used here. That dreamy sound is so popular these days and I’m here for it ❤❤ Well, Sir George, thank you so much for your time and this great reaction. I appreciate you my friend. My take on ITZY: Personally, I don't think their title tracks are necessarily more suited for NMIXX, I think NMIXX and ITZY just both tend to have similar music styles at times. Also I don't think think "most" of their title tracks are more suited for NMIXX, Gold is really the only ITZY title track that gives off slight NMIXX vibes. I actually really like Gold, I find it to be "all over the place" in the best way possible, it honestly reminds me of some their b-sides. Also, I don't think ITZY should be using just one set concept, I think they can definitely pull off a mature, powerful concept, they've already done it with the 'Born To Be' era, but I don't think that should be the only concept they do, they've shown that they can pull of any concept. In my opinion it just wouldn't make sense for a group like ITZY to settle with just one concept.
I think Itzy songs are not predictable, for me half of them are random noises, but the other half (like BORN TO BE, UNTOUCHABLE, LOCO, VOLTAGE, IMAGINERY FRIEND) are so catchy, and the MVs and the fashion is much more digestable.
Momo absolutely killed Strategy, I 100% agree. Gold was so not for me. Absolutely not what I was hoping for with Lia’s return to the group, but I will echo the sentiment that Imaginary Friend is worth a watch if you get the chance.
