where do i even start? the animation is wonderful, your vocals are incredible, the lyrics describe such a moving sense of change, the storyline is wonderfully bittersweet, the "best friends" and "new dawn" references were so smart, and oh my god that "why" callback was executed so perfectly- combined with the visuals calling back to teal, using the original framework of the original lyrics but then altering the text, exemplifying in itself the inability to wipe away the past yet still the want to change that the character has been experiencing for the entire song. using the shapeshifter role was brilliant, too- he's not only seeing the impostor kill under his identity, he's being directly confronted with the sins of his past... just, wow. honestly, i could probably keep going on about the lyricism and visuals here, but i might be here for way too long lmao just- absolutely amazing work all around 🔥
