    You saved my life. Hours of stress dealing with a mesh that can not be split when a surface would be simple. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, I have now memorised this off by heart.

    Thank you a lot for this tutorial. I needed to convert a complex mesh into a poly surface to export it as a step file for a manufacturer whose machines read only .step files, and your video just came at the perfect time. Thanks a lot!

    Nice idea but as I have seen from another solution you will then have to join those surfaces, leaving you with a brep.

    hola, gran video, una duda, no hay posibilidad de que se genere una superficie completa? porque me ocurre q la malla es complicada y al volverla superficie, se convierten en muchas

    Hey man, I was wondering that is there a way of converting the obtained surface to a single trimmed or untrimmed surface?. Can we somehow fit or rebuild the entire surface into uniform UV vales? I am working with scanned data so obtaining a final workable single surface through a code would be extremely helpful. Thank you and this was extremely helpful.

    • @aminfazeliniaki
      @aminfazeliniaki  6 років тому

      hey Gaurav, thank u for your attention and sorry for my late to answer. Usually when we want to make a union surface we can use SOLID UNION in Intersect toolbar but unfortunately we have a problem with this function for scanned file. anyway you can follow my next video for convert your file to one union surface.

    • @aminfazeliniaki
      @aminfazeliniaki  5 років тому

      Mary Ann Berendson Mary Ann Berendson ciao. Your welcome, it’s not depending on thickness, this code working on four side of each mesh. It is still working if your file is thick.

    Again a video without audio commenting. How should it be possible to follow this in video speed when even the modules are not named? On a mobile device the screen is to small to see what you're clicking exactly. Without a second monitor I will have to use my tablet to see the video. Am I supposed to stop each second, try to find the object in GH on my PC? Or how do you thought this should work? Business users like me (what will be by far the largest group) will abort the video right away.
