Am I the only one actually cheered for Ivar instead of the others. dude was a badass and the perfect example of a ruthlessnes and unbroken drive
Me too
A god indeed
yup, inspiring as fuck
I think though it may not have started that way he and Floki are the real heros( or anti heros if you prefer) of the story. Oh yeh everyone expected Beyorn to be the hero even Beyorn up to the very end and underestimating Ivar was the undoing of all of them.
I was rooting 4 him and sad when he was killed bro u r not alone he was a very powerful interesting inspiring and unique character Ivar the Boneless!
"One day of being a man is worth more than a life time of pity" I get that line for sure. That's one of those lines that stuck with me.
Ivar wasn't crippled at birth, the gods nerfed him in order to give others a fighting chance.
Love it!!
True
Wow
His legs couldn't handle the weight of his massive 🏀🏀
😂🤣
Ivar had the gift of Berserker. That mad rage that burns trough enemies. He was truly horrifying. On purpose.

@@nateowren62 Not true.

@@nathancovington1792 this is true, this is how I am so good at sex
@@nateowren62 this is true, I agree with you. That is why I ran 15 miles with a 20 pound camelbak on right after I quit smoking, and I only weighed 125 pounds at the time. Now 10 months later I weigh almost 140 and my goal is to be 150 pounds of raw muscle
Can’t lie, I loved Bjorn and Ubbe. But Ivar is my favourite, true Viking, never willing to change his religion or his Viking ways till the end, a tactical genius, an absolute savage. And the actor was born to play that character. Brilliant.
fck yeah...team ivar all the way...i just finished the show... and fans seemed to forget ivar was the only one who didn't abandon ragnar....
DONT YOU KNOW WHO I AM I AAM IVAR THE BONELESSS YOU CANT KILL MEEEEE W AAHAAAHSYRUWKNC
Bjorn: I am protected by the gods
Ivar: I am a god
Ragnar took ivar because he was the only one of his sons who lacked confidence and he had to teach him and make up for all the years he had missed, abandoned his children. Ragnar had to instill in ivar hot powerful he was besides his namesake. Dude this the best shows I’ve ever watched. When lagaertha fought her last battle I cried
finally someone said it. Ivar never used his 'disadvantage' to his advantage. And when he did the world paid for it
no,its because the rest of the sons were all busy continuing his dreams and became men in his abscence. Not to mention ragnar ivar left them all then came back, they all had things to do,important things to do...
he knew the english wouldnt kill his crippled son it would be against the churches teaching so he wanted him to come and then spread word of what happened
I hated that one battle when king harold invaded kattegat and they didn’t show the battle just like flashbacks. Fucking bs
Ivar was a bitch at the end and died crying like one. 🤙
Anger truly is a gift only if you can control it.
He didn't control it
Not control manage it
Khorne agrees
Someone said to me they hated Ivar and didn't understand how he could walk... I personally have a disability (not a physical one) so I admire the story of Ivar and his perseverance despite others telling him he'll never amount to anything. He didn't let it stop him and it's inspiring - fiction or no.
What’s your disability
I agree I have a learning disability and I was told I wouldn't be able to do things but I prove them wrong

Ivar and Ragnar most of the reason why I started watching the series
I was sad when I killed Ivar in AC Valhalla one of my favorite characters and his boss fight was fun. I made sure to give him his axe and sent him to Valhalla.
Good very good
@angus elliott games been out for a while🙄🙄
@angus elliott dont worry bro there’s still shit ton of stories in that game
Bro the way he just sits down and then sneak attacks you was insane!
What are you saying you can not give him his axe after the battle ?

That is pretty hardcore.

@@jr1364 WOOF! ▼(´ᴥ`)▼
Ooof! Noice
nice quote it's from a t-shirt i have it on now lol
The fact he has no legs, just makes him all that more badass
And scary
He has legs he just can't walk
@@raven1653 thanks for pointing out the obvious.
I don't blame Ivar for becoming ruthrless , the way everyone treated him was so harsh , and i liked when he became strong , and started his revenge , such an inspiration , an example to not give up easly in life .
I would've loved to see IVAR reunited with Floki in the last episode. When it was floki and ubbe were sitting on the beach ubbe says " I don't care what you say, I love you floki" and floki says "If you don't care , then I will say nothing". I think flokis answer would've been different if it was him and IVAR.
Ivar was the strongest of all Ragnar's sons. Despite it all he turned his weakness into his greatest strength. Everyone knows who he is just by looking at his legs. And they are terrified to even go near him
5:22 is still one of the best scenes I've ever watched ever he killed it pure evil an fear
*pure hatred and anger
I just realised the genius of the dead Ivar laid next to the cross, the image of two dead Gods, laid side by side.
@Adrian Valladares The holly Bible? So if your God is the only God, he's all powerful, all loving and all knowing, why does he allow bone cancer in children?
@Adrian Valladares What?
@Adrian Valladares There more Gods than brain cells in your head
@Adrian Valladares You know nothing of truth, and you still didn't answer my question.
Ya It’s so genius I noticed it when I watched and I totally agree two gods side by side dead so much credit to the writers
the embodiment of what the world does if you dont kill a devil. No amount of love, patience or faith given to him would have changed his path, world is cruel, and it breeds cruelty
He was a psychopath from a very young age . When he threw that axe at his brother’s head when he was a Baby then killed another brother in the same way years later

"I might brake a bone but I will never brake a promise" Ivar the most fearful viking of all time
Loved the relationship ivar had with his dad. It was an amazing story between the 2 of them. Im the youngest in my family and always related to ivar when watching him struggle to be accepted. His dad was always there for him. Just like mine was. Who past away 8 years ago. I miss him everyday. 😢
He deserved so many awards for this acting
Ivar one of if not the best characters in the entire show.
I stopped watching Vikings around season 3 as I got bored. Watching this video made me watch the whole thing from the beginning.
We called him ivar the boneless not because he was a cripple but because he was never broken
Surely, this can be only reason.
I don't agree. I think he got to the point of where he is now because of the fact that he was broken. Maybe the most broken of them all, but a broken bone grows back stronger than ever.
I got chills watching this. I’m gonna have to rewatch the series. There’s power in that mindset. So badass
Meh, behave like that in real life and you'll die stupidly with 0 rewards.
He exactly become what Ragnar said to him "ruthless"
Ivar is my favourite, he always was. And he inspires me to be a stronger person in real life.
i liked Bjorn, Ubbe, and Hvitsik but ... from the start to the end i never stopped loving Ivar .. he was my favorite... no death made me cry so much as Ivar's death did ..
I've never seen this show. That just hyped me so crazy
I envy you
If you still haven't seen it you're in for a treat. I think I'll watch a second time
Best character of the whole show
True
Second first needs to be ragnar
Ragnar was by far the one who carried the show and handed it over to boneless. So ragnar first then boneless second/ close to bjorn
Have you all motherfuckers miss the most important character in show, the man that says "I've been told your god is a carpenter, and guess what? So am I."
I had an EMT partner, still best friend, who had mild left sided cerebral palsy. I called him superman. Now I know why he liked this character so much. And based on a real king slayer of history to boot.
You don’t fear the man that can do it, you fear the man that dreams of doing it.
👏🏽only thing I’d add is his final speech “I am Ivar the boneless”
I'm upset they killed Ivar off, when he actually led a long life, conquering a lot of the Scottish Isles.
He also wasn't crippled, just extremely skinny and fast
Thanks that someone said it 🔥💯
Ivar was not my favorite, but he’s the one I relate to. I’m disabled and understand completely what sympathy does to someone like us. We just want to be acknowledged for who we are beyond our “disability”. Being like us does give us great strength. Enough to challenge the entire world!!!!
The Real Ivar the Boneless was even better and lived twice as long till his death of old age in Ireland.
Hands down my favorite tv show of all time.
After one scene I bought the entire collection. Ivar taking on those men single handedly as he screamed called to the monster in me that begs to rest but forever roars at the moon in a violent rage that never dies
Cringe

It would've been so much better for the story if Ivar's legs had healed eventually as he slowly built strenght. Watching him fight his brothers would've been epic. He submitted Hvitserk while sitting down and he was probably the best out of everyone at sword fighting.
Bro left kattegat with Ragnar as a cripple..... Came back with tenfold the fighting spirit, and the most cunning stratagist in the entire series even outsmarting Alfred in the very last..... If anything to be feared was if this guy had the legs... Then he would be unmatched by ANYONE
I watch this everyday since I found it, without fail, atleast 5 times a day. starting from 3.15 to the end . Ivan Torrent sounds. Ivar the boneless best scenes and as someone who’s always in pain and angry. I relate to it. I love it. This is one the best edits I’ve seen, as mentioned before 💪🏽💯👹
I live in pain too but I’m not angry all the time. That’s a cowards response bro
@@TheInfantry98 a coward's response is to judge a man without trying to understand him. You sound like the weak one to me
Me too ❤️ this is so baddas scene and full of adrenaline with this music. Makes me wanna go to battlefield 😁
As a Christian it doesn't scare that people like Ivar exist but that I am one of them. Honestly for my entire life my hatred and rage dragged me forward when all I wanted to do is quit and let the sweet embrace of death free me from my burdens which I've had to carry on my back since I was old enough to first start speaking. Hate and rage simply comes so much more naturally to me then love and forgiveness and yet all the same I try to be better even if it's a losing battle.
Jeez bro...i hope you win your battles
@@temitopeerinkitola3119 I hope so too my friend but it's hard to live everyday feeling so guilty for holding such immense hatred and rage within me. The hardest part is when my loved ones are subjected to that terrible side of me, that's a big reason why I'm extremely afraid to get married and have kids.
I cried watching this video. I can relate to the pain , hate and anger of growing alone....
I like how when they said Ivar will be a monster before he was even born everyone just assumed they meant he will be deformed as he was the day he was born. Plot twist... wtf🤣🤣🤣 he a monster
He was so powerful and heartbreaking.
I don’t have the words for how perfect this is.
This is real strength. The bullies ARE WEAK AS WATER.
Ubbe was the wise side of Ragnar, Ivar was the savage side of Ragnar
What about Bjorn
@@eugenlovin6788 Bjorn was Ragnars "clone", he traveled a lot, was not motivated by power (once be became mature) he had a savages side, was amazing warrior and not exactly faithful to his ladies
Ivar also had Ragnar's intellect

Ahh Ivar. My favorite psychopath.
What an awsome video to a great character. I so much love this series and would definetely recommend watching it!
Ivar and ragnar scenes man, I love them so much. And sigurd feels like the representation of a toxic youtube comment section
Never seen past season 1 of Vikings.
I will now binge watch this shit. Good video
3.10-5.05 the best edit I’ve ever seen then after the chat wit Ivar and ubba, after that chat it’s good too. In my opinion but 3.10-5.05 where he slams his sharp weapon into the table that’s powerful shit bud
Bro I never even knew he existed
Watching this gave me chills
I havent watched the series yet but so far he's my favorite for a multitude of reasons. He is whyyy I'm most likely going to watch it (until the episode before he dies cause Im a criminal like that :))
Ivar was the best character by FAR... such a great arch
Bro was a cripple but still climbed the mountain of greatness faster then some of his brothers
Not my favorite character in the show, but definitely one of the baddest asses in the show, history, and myth.
As someone who isn’t able to experience life like everyone else due to severe mental illness, making me unable to leave the house, get a job, hang out with friends and family, and even making me fail and miss out on the Highschool experience, I can relate heavily to Ivar and the anger he has. Though fictional, He’s inspiring. He makes me want to get up and do everything in my power to try and experience life the way a person is supposed to and that disabilities, mental or physical, doesn’t make a person weak or powerless. 10/10 character right here. Beautifully written
Whatever it takes, just do it!
Gots to be the best edit I’ve ever seen in my life honestly
Imagine having to fight the army they took to Wessex to avenge the death of Ragnar....except they are all Ivar
When they mentioned Viking I automatically picture "How the little piggies will grunt, when they hear how the old boar suffered" & "It gladdens me to know that odin prepare a feast.soon i shall be drinking ale from curved horns!!" Lastly "I am Ivar the boneless" moments.
Greatest character in movies or any show unbelievable!
These stories deserve Oscars

Ivar is by far my fav character he’s so ruthless, cold, and persistent
I just love this character man ✨🔥🔥
I rank the sons of Ragnar in order of strength and courage
1.Bjorn without a doubt
2.Ubbe a true son of Ragnar indeed
3.Ivan ruthlessly cunning to the end
4.Hvitserk the lost but loyal brother
5.Sigurd the skald who died a stupid death
I think this is a pretty fair rating from the god of mischief 🙏🏻
Haha Sigurd
What's amazing about Ivar is that he fought against many soldiers of other nations and nobody could kill him, except one soldier who was trembling with fear.
This is the only time he was afraid in life. What an amazing character he was !
