It could either be: An entirely new cookie(which makes no sense lore/game wise) A new system where you can awaken ancients to new forms and cacao is the first. My opinion, if it was a new cookie, devsis wouldn't make such an uncreative new rarity for new cookies like "ancient+", the + makes me think it's an awakening sort of thing

My reasoning and cope for it not being a new cookie entirely is the fact that the skill still looks like the old hit pattern from the previous form so I think if you were going to make him a new rarity, to at least give him a different skill like another slash or smth.

I wish there was a soulstone transfer system for dark cacao to awakened cacao. For example: once obtaining awakened cacao and beating beast yeast episode 3 or 4, you can transfer soulstones from cacao to awakened cacao. (There can also be an animation for unpromoting/unascending for cacao. For example: a 1 star ascended cacao to a 5 star promoted cacao would be him falling from the sky back onto the promotion area.)
I think that this idea of soulstone transfer woukd be great for the players so they can use their dark cacao to promote their awakened cacao. (And promote literally the same cookie, just stronger.)

I don't really like the fact that awakened dark cacao cookie is a whole separate cookie. I always felt like the ancients were the 5 strongest cookies in lore, the beasts are a great concept but now that we're getting Ancient+ rarity, it feels a bit oversaturated. Once everyone's super, no one will be, you know?
For Peach Blossom, I saw two different colored Peaches. I hope that it appears at a set rate, and is not RNG. RNG skills tend to be bad because they are not consistent.

Exactly, making a whole new cookie makes absolutely no sense and it’s odd the stars are the color or the ascension ones. It made sense for the Beast cookies to be that way, but it makes absolutely no sense to make this a separate cookie. Unless they’re redoing all the ancients which means they’d likely give people who already invested in him a boost like when they gave people soulcores for sonic and tails when Ascension became a thing. Or at least this is what I want to believe.

If they end up releasing this Dark Cacao as a separate version of the original, that's gotta be the stupidest thing I've ever seen devsisters do. Ill give it to Devsis. They held out for a long time without doing an awakened character. A good few years. A lot of gacha games add awakened versions way sooner. However at the end of the day, its a gacha game, its inevitible that a character is gonna get awakened versions, and it will happen to more cookies in the future. Im personally not a fan of it and it doesnt fit CRKs style at all. Ancient+ seems like the wrong path to take.
Finally, someone who knows the existence of alters, maybe it is something "Bad" a bad idea but that is better than trying to improve a cookie that cannot get out of its hole no matter how many buffs they give him

I've been playing this game for almost 3 years, still keeping my chin up with Devsisters' shits. But this update, has taken a toll on my mind that makes my veins wanna burst out of frustration to the point i might as well think about quitting too.
I don't think there will be a new gacha for the awakened dark cacao. The Mystic Flour gacha will be up during the update so I'm hoping it's just an upgrade rather than a new cookie
All hope may not be lost could easily be a conversion system or another system where getting one dark cacao gives you both and star upgrades and stuff like that are different

Exactly, making a whole new cookie makes absolutely no sense and it’s odd the stars are the color or the ascension ones. It made sense for the Beast cookies to be that way, but it makes absolutely no sense to make this a separate cookie. Unless they’re redoing all the ancients which means they’d likely give people who already invested in him a boost like when they gave people soulcores for sonic and tails when Ascension became a thing. Or at least this is what I want to believe.

I was so excited for this update because i stupidly picked dark cacao when I started playing and I thought he was gonna get a buff. If it turns out to be a separate character to roll I’m gonna lose it.
Dam still remeber the the time devsis gave us cookie cutters for how mnay times we have the new cookie promoted and how they gave so many codes yeah that where the greatest time of CRK sad that now days if you dont have the new cookies in arena you get destroyed ita not funny like if you are a starter and got mystic flour and you are 100k behind in power in arena you can still defeat team that has 300k power if that team doesnt have mystic flour (this applies to legendary , ancient , superepic)
If they end up releasing this Dark Cacao as a separate version of the original, that's gotta be the stupidest thing I've ever seen devsisters do. Why tf would you hype up this character and their "glorious return" and still leave the original in the dust just so people can pull for a stronger version. Just update the original! That image with Frost Queen's icon was promising indicating that Dark Cacao, hopefully the original, could just be updated to "Ancient +" through some sort of crystal jam concept. Wait a minute, why are y'all saying that it is going to be a separate cookie if there is a jam stone slot for Dark Cacoao Cookie's awakening from one of hyroollegend's previous leak videos about the awakening?
They need too come out with a special cookie cutter system for the higher tier cookies. Cause only whales are benefiting and being drained off their cash from every update.
Ill give it to Devsis. They held out for a long time without doing an awakened character. A good few years. A lot of gacha games add awakened versions way sooner. However at the end of the day, its a gacha game, its inevitible that a character is gonna get awakened versions, and it will happen to more cookies in the future. Im personally not a fan of it and it doesnt fit CRKs style at all. Ancient+ seems like the wrong path to take.
Finally, someone who knows the existence of alters, maybe it is something "Bad" a bad idea but that is better than trying to improve a cookie that cannot get out of its hole no matter how many buffs they give him
