I get so nervous when you back up to dump that stone. Can’t wait for more, your vision is amazing. I tell my husband, dont you just wanna go help him!!! I do. Haha. The rock formation for waterfall is perfect
In previous videos I didn't think the pool would be deep enough, but now I can see it will be just right. Also It seems like those two boulders you pulled out would make some great stepping stones. Love the progress!
Man you are literally doing everything I want to do. I have a ford 555b that I am fixing currently. I want to do a diy pool in my back yard. Your killing it!
Your imagination is a great blueprint. It's taking shape nicely. Maybe a round yurt would be nice out there. Like your blueprint. Endless possibilities!
9:10 I'm always impressed by your skill, your confidence, and your level of comfort as you operate machinery. If the whole machine were rocking under me with a full scoop of dirt, I would be moving dirt so hesitantly and slowly. I'm impressed by the way you get things done and keep your projects moving forward.
@@johnunsicker7440 I have driven tractor and bank-out for rice and even when I am familiar with the machine, I am more cautious than a lot of other drivers (I also tend to break stuff less, not sure if that is related?)....but being more slow and careful means I would be only a fraction as productive as Mike if I were trying to tackle the same project.
Mike, How about a Yurt? They have many options like a skylight, a real door, windows, etc. and they’re more durable and can easily be insulated. Just a suggestion
All that dirt making a decent sized parking/recreation area right next to the pool! The further along it gets, the more the plan comes together. Of course, plans change as the vision becomes clearer and better ideas are implemented!
Mate, this forest pool is going to be a massively attractive feature for marketing the Boat cabin. (But I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know). When you started, I could only visualize a bathtub-sized plunge pool. It has developed into an awesome ‘natural’ pond in a beautiful setting. The finished article will be absolutely delightful. Such a drawcard for families with kids. So good.
You are on to something with the glamping tent. A nice addition to your portfolio of unique rental units. Given the location I'm sure that it will be very popular. Also a quick way to start generating revenue since the other units have a lot longer lead time to habitability. Love how this project is shaping up, one of my favorites.
For me it gets harder to say something different Mike. Your crushing this build I did not see coming this well and done it with equipment best left at a scrap yard. Fine job Laddie
So you got a little bit of grotto feature going on... THAT's cool. I don't know how you plan this out... a little bit here and then a little bit there and then all of a sudden you got something! But I'll be damned if I can figure out that critical path... I had a hard time picturing what your vision was for this landscaping feature... but now I am starting to see it. Thanks for sharing this with us.
@alfredomarotta6604 thank you! I wasn't keen on the whole world knowing but it was part of the transaction. I don't do things for attention or fame but as an act of kindness. I'm a 100% disabled veteran that faces my own struggles. Mike works so hard at getting by. It's not that he's insane, he lives for the challenge. In that way he reminds me of myself around that age. He doesn't know something can't be done simply because no one told him it couldn't. He, like I, had a vision and had no idea how to get it done, but you set upon figuring it out. He is excellent at that. His quiet demeanor and dry humor are the crown jewels of his channel. His humor especially has helped me over some humps in my life in the last year. I also must credit another UA-cam channel, Puddin's Fab Shop, for helping with my depression. Watching either one of these guys and you are hooked. You can't go anywhere because you will miss what they are going to do next. The good these guys do is much beyond building or fixing things. Well, I've rambled on enough. If there is anyone on UA-cam that deserves some help, it's Mike. Cheers Terry
Hi Mike. I know I've said it before, but you sure do get a lot done, just working by yourself. That is a good size hole for swimming. Good idea to build benches into the side but what will happen to them when you put the liner in? Will the liner conform to the underlying shape? I guess it must. We will see when you get to that stage. Never built anything like that myself.
Always a new vision when you post. Your self effacing humor is always thoughtful, and diminishes the amount of effort and detail that you have planned 😮, but those who follow your journey know better 😅. Back to the muscle power that the triple nickel provides 😊
Hello Capt. You said the key word. Visualize. Personally I can see the project complete. For the most part. I think it’s going too be awesome. Blue lights behind the waterfall would look great. Thanks
That is looking sweet, really like the way the project is developing. I see the vision I believe, thanks for the update, enjoying being able to share the project with you.
Captain, mighty Fancy; A flashing light thingy, a beepin stick (not the profanity type), an earth pounder leveler outer gas powered machine, a cement maker twirler, and a large sccoper dooper machine. Ya got it all Buddy. It is gonna be awesome. Thanks for the vidja. John here, photographing the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee, ya'll.
Spectacular, Captain. It is taking shape. You could call it, "The Big Hole We dug, And filled With Water". I know, I know. A little bit too wordy. Shucks.
Nice work Captain! Can’t wait to see this finished it’s going to be amazing. I just found out last week my buddy has had the same vevor plate compactor as you and I needed to use it. He has had it about 5 years and I can say it works awesome and the quality isn’t skimpy by any means.
Looking good there Captain Kleenman.. can't wait for you to show me your vision as you create your dream.. I like that.. doing great job!! Can wait for the next video...
Mike, it'd be pretty cool if you could've undercut your water fall feature and put the retaining wall back further under that shelf, where you could sit behind it. But, as you mentioned, the delamination could be an issue. The 'pit pond progress' is going well. Carry on Capt'n!
My imagination still can't see it. But your imagination keeps revealing more - so that's just fine. Love it. My life has been long blooper. too, and I'm 80 years old. It ain't gonna change. Love the work you do - all of it.
Anyone else prepared for this project getting to 94% done.....and Mike switching direction to working on restoring a " Used Vietnam Era Helicopter I found on Facebook Marketplace"
At this point all I can say is, I wish I had half your energy and a healthy dose of that enthusiasm. Let me caution you regarding canvas glamping tents, they are a pain in the duppa to maintain. If left up for any length of time they develop mildew and mold and it is no mean feat to get them clean. Ask me how I know.
🤠 plz excuse the cowboy, as its my signature, I have great difficulty using my hands due to ill healthy and cant type well. I enjoy your vids, thank you - Tim
Boy Mike I sure love your new camera, almost gives you a 3-D feeling at times! Your projects are always exciting, keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long time watcher and somtimes not so smart man.... have a question, i dont understand why you glue the second course to the base course of stone instead of mortar all courses? Love what you're doing and always looking for new ways to do things, which rhis channel often provides. Keep up the great work and can hardly wait to see it finished. Thanks for your wisdom. 😊
You get to do my three favorite things... 1. Work alone, 2. Work alone in nature, and 3. Work alone in nature with an excavator.
Definitely an awesome time

Cap’n you wielded that bucket like a sculptor! I love your vision…. Keep on carving and finishing. She’s gonna be a beaut.
Slowly getting there!
That is coming along very well. The kids are gonna enjoy that when it's finished. Stay safe

Captain, this is going to look awesome. It is going to look like a CCC built state park.
This is looking amazing. For a lodging, maybe consider a Yurt. They are fairly inexpensive and hold up well for year round setups. Thanks for sharing.
Your imagination is a great blueprint. It's taking shape nicely. Maybe a round yurt would be nice out there. Like your blueprint. Endless possibilities!
Yurt would be cool for sure

You are getting to the point where we don’t have to imagine your plans 😊 great job 🎉 but I sure do miss seeing the 755 on your projects 😮
Love the project. Thanks for the recording efforts so we can see the progress.
