I wasn't too worried because there are a LOT of cut scenes after The Boss. But they haven't really done a whole lot of CQC the entire time so I was kinda worried too.

Honestly fellas this playthrough has been a blast. The revolver/dogs bit a few episodes back was genuine comedy gold on a par with the medkit/lava bit from the first season. Hope to see more down the line. Thanks the for the laughs
Personally, I think the call after the Volgin fight was the best bit of comedy and clearly going by this video, all they learned was to call Rob a little bit more.

All that build up and the symbolism in doing it together, just for it to be the wrong button. Then the button mashing causing it to zoom in and out.I literally cried laughing. Definitely was symbolic.
Yea me to how it finally breaks Rob completely. And the two of them just laughing because they know how much it must have killed Rob to see the moment end like that with the whole camera zooming in and out.

If we don't get highlight montage to Frank Sinatra My Way after this I'll be slightly disapointed . After all Rob you can't deny that Nath and Dave did it there way.
A little tip for anybody who decides to pick up this game after watching this playthrough. As The Boss rushes you for a CQC attack as she'll grab you and there will be a "woosh" sound effect. If you press the CQC button as you hear the sound effect you'll win the exchange and be able to slam her into the ground and unload tranquilizers into her. It makes the fight significantly easier, but most importantly it looks cool.
Genuinely enjoyed this series but my god i have been to the extremes of all the emotions watching them both fumble their way through one of the best games ive ever played, rob you should consider seeking help for blood pressure, but MGS2 for christmas..?

But Dave's also repeatedly mentioned how he doesn't remember anything about it (a point he just reiterated the other day on a Tuesday checklist), so it would be pretty much the same as him not having played it. But who knows. He can be like the experienced Plisskins to Naths nooby Raiden.
The moment they had to pull the trigger on the boss was the most beautiful moment killing epic failure I have ever seen, the camera going mad from the button mashing had me in absolute tears 😂

Omg, when The Boss showed up and started making her speech about "enemies", the music and knowing the truth of why she did what she did, made me tear up. Eva's speech later on is going to make me break down. This is why MGS3 is one of my all time favorite games.
Great stuff! Really glad I stuck out the whole journey with y'all! I have to say that my favourite thing about this playthrough is just how uncomfortable Dave and Nath get during the EVA scenes!

An amazing and hilarious lets play series from start to finish. I've never played any Metal Gear games but I would love that you guys keep doing these kinds of lets plays of the MGS game series as I feel it's the only way to keep me invested in the MGS saga now 🤣!
I feel as pissed off as Rob. They really don't give a damn sometimes. I was fully emerised when I first played this game and couldn't wait to get back on to play it each day. They seem not to care at all to take in the experience of one of the best MGS games.
Please, please tell me Rob will clue them in as to Ocelot’s parentage . . . otherwise, a joy to watch. Never stop doing these types of series. Also, EVA is the reason I have a Triumph. Anyone else?

To be fair for a lot of people all it takes it playing one game for awhile to than forget the buttons to the last game you played. I know when I was playing Bloodborne and God of War at the same time. Any time I would go back to Bloodborne I would get the buttons all wrong still using the attack and block buttons from God of War. So easy for me to understand them forgetting the buttons for this game seeing how it uses a totally different type of controller scheme than any other game.
Pleased to meet Dave and Nathan, the moment killers. A great series I hope there will be an instalment of this! Maybe Elle can give advice to Rob and Rosie playing God Of War or something along those lines.
