Hummelstown, nestled in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, exudes small-town charm with its historic architecture and tree-lined streets. Home to around 4,500 residents, this community maintains a welcoming atmosphere. The heart of the town is lined with quaint shops, local eateries, and a sense of community pride. Its proximity to Hershey adds a touch of sweetness, making it an appealing destination for those seeking a blend of history and modern comforts. The town was first established in 1762 and was originally called Fredrickstown. The Hummelstown Brownstone Company set up shop in 1863, operating quarries for 65 years. The company produced Hummelstown brownstone, which was used as building stone throughout the US. The Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Hummelstown was built from the Hummelstown brownstone in 1893.
