Pickles are a thing. There’s a Christmas tradition that’s whoever finds the pickle is the first to open a gift. It’s fun. When my kids were young and I read about it we implemented that into our Christmas tradition.
It's a German tradition and here in Milwaukee, so are upside down Christmas trees. It's supposed to represent the holy trinity. You see them on ceilings everywhere in public places. You're supposed to hide the pickle and whoever finds it has good luck all year and gets a special gift.
The pickle is a victorian tradition. Pickles at that time symbolized abundance. It was hidden with in the tree. The one that found it was blessed with good luck through out the next yr. It's been several hundred yrs not . Not random

Good Morning- I saw the first episode and I’m into it!! I like to binge watch so I am letting the episodes build up so I can watch a few at a time. I’m really not an Oz Cop fan, but this show gives a look of his backstory which I am always interested in people’s history, fictional or non fictional 😁😁😁

The Christmas pickle is a tradition in which a pickle-shaped ornament is hidden on a Christmas tree and the first person to find it receives a reward:
Reward: The finder may receive a special gift, be allowed to open the first gift, or be said to have good luck for the year
Difficulty: The pickle is hidden deep in the tree branches, where the pine needles make it hard to find
Popularity: The tradition is especially popular in the American Midwest
Origin: The tradition's origins are mysterious, but some say it's German
I am so here for the detail! This sounds so fun and I’m absolutely going to add it to my Christmas family traditions! Thanks! 😊
Nice video but a little too much dialogue on every item
Thanks for the feedback! 😊
