Crazy, yeah that is possible. The gas fees on the Ethereum network are insane. Much cheaper to do it on the Binance Smart Chain network with pancakeswap.
Thanks for this video but I am new to crypto and when I settle slippage fee to 4.0% it won't work, I tried 5.0% and also the same. Any help would be great and thanks once again.
@@MattTaylorVariety I have the binance smart chain network. My binance is in the etheruem network. How do I switch to binance smart chain network, it says I have 0 BNB on smart chain network
@@Yo-oq9gg You can follow this video. ua-cam.com/video/1W8J-mAlLso/v-deo.html or another way is to send your BNB from the Ethereum network to a Binance Smart Chain Wallet. Then from there send it to your Binance Smart Chain wallet on Metamask, if that makes sense?
Thank you, Mykaela! Yes it can be a little risky. So you always make sure you are buying the right one. :) To do that go to coinmarketcap and type in the coin you want to buy. Then under the name of the coin you will see the contracts. You can find the Binance Smart Chain contract and copy and paste it and put that in pancake swap to make sure you import the right one. Or just compare it with the one there. :)
Matt! I've been into crypto for about 18 months and today I bought some floki, just for the heck of it. I needed to figure out how to add floki to metamask and the first video that came up had your picture! That's hilarious. I had to do a doubletake.
Hi Evan, yep you would sell it the same way you bought it, by connecting the trust wallet to pancakeswap and then swapping it (selling it) for BNB. Then you would swap the BNB Smart Chain for BNB using the dex feature on Trust Wallet. Then you can send the BNB to Binance.US or Binance, whatever is connected to your bank, etc. and sell it there for BTC (bitcoin) then cash out the Bitcoin for USD or whatever Fiat currency you have. So there are some steps involved, because there is a straight FLOKI/USD paring. If that makes sense?
@@Dayvid85-s4o HI you follow the exact steps as I did in this video. But on pancakeswap you pick Floki and you are going to sell it for BNB, slippage again set to 4%. Once you make the transaction you will have BNB Smart Chain tokens in your Trust Wallet. Trade those in the DEX for BNB. Send the BNB to Binance.US or Binance. Sell the BNB for USD or another Fiat and withdraw it to your bank.
Hi Robert, did you just Buy the BNB? You may need to wait for the funds to clear from the bank first before it will let you swap it. You also may need a little bit extra then what you are trying to swap to pay the fees (a dollar or two worth) Meaning lower the amount requested to swap. So you have some leftover to pay the swap fee.
I have $100 worth the money was taken out of my account I’m really not sure what the problem is. When I hit trade it let me trade but when I had swap it says no assets
So I tried to buy Floki from Uniswap with my Metamask wallet and the gas fees are around 200$! Is that even possible???

You also need to have BNB to pay the gas fees, otherwise it won't work. But it looks like you were able to buy it.
OK I got it but I have no floki amount, wtffffffffff
You have to add the coin to your wallet. Like I showed in the video. 5:52 in the video. Make sure you select the right one.
This is so confusing. I don’t see BNB smart chain on my metamask, it doesn’t even come up.
You have to switch your metamask to the Binance Smart Chain, right now it is probably on the Ethereum chain.

You can buy directly from Gate.io
Pair it with Floki/USDT
Yes there are several places where you can buy it. Some people want to use DeFi exchanges and not traditional exchanges like Gate.io
Great video! I heard pancake swap was a little risky because people can fake BNB coins, is that true?

@@mg5672 Make sure you pick the right one, there are several wannabe flokis.
What's the minimum amount you can buy floki with?
in usdt
There really isn't a minimum, as long as you can pay the fees for the transaction. You can buy floki with even 1 USDT
