Any new player progression guide should start with grinding arena. You get access to top tier champs and units for the lowest amount of effort. The first 60 days should be arena grinding.

Right now I'm on progress order number 12. Not a bad Roster, still think there's certain champs that would make it alot easier for harder content
Imo, the best way to progress in the game is to punch some enemies, and then punch some harder to beat enemies. And then repeat. Over. And over. And over.

Rich, you should have mentioned grinding the heck out of the arenas while the new players still have their, Rookie status. They can earn tons of resources and build up their rosters during this, one time only, phase in MCOC.
When should I start 100% act 1-3?

This game is complicated. I don't even know what to do with some shards and boosts. So hard
