It’s crazy to me the amount of hate comments you got during this stream. I watch your videos because you’re such a ray of light in this dark world. You’re always so bubbly and you do so much for others. Some people are so cruel for no reason :(
i can’t believe the things that chat says sometimes. Kayla is such a ray of sunshine and it breaks my heart that she has to deal with these comments in real time on a regular basis. she always handles it with such grace, but i wish she wouldn’t have to get those comments at all. 😢
9:33 Fun fact: the reason many old houses are skinny, is because you used to be able (back in the olden days 😅) to purchase land, and you paid per square metre of land. There were no extra costs if you build it high and there were not many rules in place to the height of a house. [edit: typo]
Try not to feel too self conscious when people say you look tired, I have big eyes that are very hooded as well and people tell me I look high or tired all the time. I try not to take it personally but I get it completely. Plus your new hair cut looks so cute!! Don’t let rude people bring ya down Kayla ❤❤
Wait a minute, Taylor Swift "arrives" just a few days after Kayla "leaves"? Has anyone ever seen Taylor and Kayla in the same place at the same time before? Suspicious! 😋
"It takes 55 minutes to get there." = this statement provokes very different reactions based on location: Upper East Coast: That is SO FAR AWAY! Midwest & West Coast: That is SO CLOSE!
As a Dutchie iets pretty funny hearing simsim talk about the beef between Amsterdam and Rotterdam. I too, always thought that is so weird. My hometown has the same thing with a city nearby. And yes, everything in the Netherlands is close. Its a really small country. But traveling within Amsterdam can also take an hour or more. Either way, hope you had / are having fun simsieee! And, love the hair!!
for the europeans: it takes longer for me to get to my state capital in a mid-sized state (1.5 hrs) than it does to get from Amsterdam to Rotterdam and my city is considered close to the state capital.
I totally get that! I live in Dallas Texas, and it takes 3 1/2 hours to get to Austin! I just moved here from Florida, and I miss the ocean, but unfortunately the closest access I have to the ocean is in Houston which is almost 4 hours away! 😭
People really underestimate the size of the US when they come. I've had friends want to do a full US tour in a weekend, like NY to Disney in FL, to New Orleans, to Chicago, to Dallas, to Vegas, to L.A. I have to tell them to pick one city/state only! Vegas to LA is the only one that's somewhat realistic.
Non Canadians and non Americans really have a different idea on distance. I live in Florida too and it would take me 5 hours to drive from my house to Orlando. Meanwhile people in Europe could get to several countries within that time. Have fun in Amsterdam, it’s gorgeous.
The fact that the flowers on the bicycle are realistic, but the chains along the waterfront, neatness and the amount of walking space are NOT has me giggling in dutch. Also I know sims don't need them, but it kinda is missing a parked car along the canal. The parking skills of Amsterdammers are crazy. They have to park literally on the edge... and yes, more often than not without any chain... Being from the other side of the country, I do not even dare to try...
Absolutely love this build and those roofs are fantastic. ❤❤❤ I didn't have a dance at my wedding because my husband hates dancing and I don't like being the center of attention, but we also had a smaller wedding with no dance floor, so it wasn't really noticed. People still had an amazing time. The beauty is that it's YOUR wedding and you two get to do what you want! (Despite what is "normal" or expected) ❤
for the europeans, I live smack in the middle of my state (tennessee) I can drive 4 hours in either east or west and still be in my state xD and tennessee isn't a big state. The average work commute for an american is 45 minutes to 1 hour one way. so driving an hour for luxury is no big deal for us. I drove 10 hours for vacation to go to orlando back in 2021! lol
Watching this while you're actually i the Netherlands. I really like this build, you really captured the vibe of these 'grachtenpanden'. I hope you're having fun over here Kayla!
OMG omg omg, this is the request I put in with my donations the past two years of fundraising and it’s finally happening 😭😭 I can’t believe I missed the livestream! I’m so excited to watch this back though 🥰😍
I am from Rhode Island, where if it's more than 30 minutes away you make a day trip out of things. You can get from the top of the state to the bottom in about an hour. I was chuckling at your Amsterdam vs Rotterdam vs Florida thoughts!
My mother took me on a cruise down the Rhine which ended in Amsterdam, where we stayed a couple extra days to look at museums, windmills, and of course a canal tour. On that canal tour, we saw a bunch of drunken-leaning buildings...and one perfectly straight-standing one. Turns out that one was the local pub--the only sober-looking one of the lot! XDD (Also, it's more like 3 bikes at the bottom of the canal, lol--oh, and CPR came out of research from folks in Amsterdam trying to figure out how to revive folks who had drunk too much and then fell into the canals!)
europe honestly is so cool like you can literally go to 3 different countries in like 6 hrs meanwhile thats how long it takes me to get to the closest city😭
OMG! So this is just my opinion but around the 43:00 minute mark as your looking at the house is it just me or do the roof line look a lot like Whoville roof with all the weird lines? 😂
I’ve joined a few streams. And I’ve given feedback on main channel videos (negatives usually just the inside joke about all the blue) but sometimes I do feel like the twitch crowd can be a little too vocal. Like wind your necks in? Build it yourself?
I LOVE THE NEW HAIR
I cannot see the difference 🥲
@@punk-pangolinsit’s shorter and she has bangs
it literally looks so good and suits her so well
she looks gorgeous 🥹

Kayla really does look like a Sims 4 roofing pro in this build - impressive because the roofing mechanics are so difficult to work with.
The audacity of some of these chatters, you handle them so well. You're looking gorg with your haircut!
"It takes 55 minutes to get there." = this statement provokes very different reactions based on location:
Upper East Coast: That is SO FAR AWAY!
Midwest & West Coast: That is SO CLOSE!
I live in the upper east coast and 55 is NOT far to people around me! That’s a normal commute here.

Watching your cat making biscuits in time with the music along side your awesome build has brightened my otherwise hellish week! Thank you and snap! 🐾
i love your new bangs simsie i really think they frame your face well 🩷
I got so anxious watching this. The chat was so rude! BTW...love the build 😊
THE NEW CUT IS ADORABLE, YOU LOOK SO CUTE

I live in the UK and when I went to visit family in Tennessee I was absolutely amazed that Tennessee has 2 time zones!
the hair suits you so well ‼

Your BANGS are sooo cute !!!
2:35 yes but that is without traffic. And the train, well, only if it actually rides (on time)😅
38:18 coming back again. Chat is really nasty on this day.
OMG omg omg, this is the request I put in with my donations the past two years of fundraising and it’s finally happening 😭😭 I can’t believe I missed the livestream! I’m so excited to watch this back though 🥰😍
It would’ve been funny if there was a coffeeshop in one of the shops😂🚬
daaaamm the rotterdam-amsterdam distance comparation got me thinking. Cause for me, one hour in car is to get out of my state.
Love the haircut! Have so much fun in Amsterdam :).
Omg I love your hair cut!!! ❤
The red and white building would be great as a Barber/ Beauty Salon, if the sims ever had those lot types in the game.
Absolutely love them. been looking for beautiful houses that are from my city for so long to put in my game
I love to see actual realistic houses from REAL places.
this really exist 🤨
“I think it would be fun to furnish tiny apartments” GURLLL come on over
I watch Bondi Treasure Hunter and his friends from there doing magnet fishing and the ungodly amount of bikes, coins, and safes in the canals is wild.
Love the new look!

LOVE the hair!! It looks great!! Also loving this build as a dutch person!! :DD
A one hour drive is a normal job commute in NJ! Lol
