I loved your video. My brother lives in Droitwich ( which he is very proud of). I live in New Zealand but I have visited my brothers house many times. He had told me about its history but now the penny has dropped. Keep making your videos. 👍
@@lifeat2.3milesanhour57 their is st Richard fes too . , Market's every month , salt fes . I'm glad you love it too . It's a shame that the council are not thinking of the people who live here . They've built to many houses not enough doc , dentist , schools . It needs to stop . Their will be nothing left ❤️💖🤔💜💚💙🧡🖤♥️🇮🇪🇮🇪
Hello from the USA. Stumbled upon your channed and love it. We are taking our first narrowboat trip in 2021. We are starting the Avon Ring in Droitwich Spa! Great info. Thank you.
hello andy, we've just watched this and the stourport video back to back and they were an exceptional insight into the origins of the places that would only be discovered by doing a lot of homework :-) many thanks for uploading, we're very much looking forward to watching your next upload! :-)
Brill vid, thanks Mr Tidy. Can I just advise taking great care with music - YT will defend copyrights and take your vids down if you are not careful. Much as I love "Albatross"... Best wishes.
That was actually quite interesting learning about the place I live in just one question how the bloody hell did you get up that hill because I have never managed to get up there
@@jaden1495 I went up the lane to the church ad back down a tiny path which leads to the pub. Good view from the top but the tower would be even better.
There is a proper footpath accessed off the Bromsgrove Road that you can walk up, you don't actually have to go up the pub path and over the railway line. You can also reach it by car up Crutch Lane

Should find it quite manageable being from Australia.
A lovely potted history of Droitwich, my next visit will be all the more enjoyable having now benefited from your guide.
Thanks Martin. I have encountered some major technical hitches loading my videos onto youtube. I finally found a work round!
Life at 2.3 miles an hour - glad you did, personally speaking then it was worth it
@@llessibm There is another one going out in a week looking at the basins in Stourport.

Interestingly I had an issue when I used a clip of more than 10 secs .
@@lifeat2.3milesanhour57 Yup, you don't want those pesky algorithms chasing you into the canal! Good luck.
i have a salt well in my back garden in vines lane
Thats interesting - any chance of a look? Maybe on the day before the next St Richards Festival?

Do you mean the church yard?
Yeah
