Backroad Trip from Grand Forks to Greenwood in British Columbia 🇨🇦

  • Follow us on this drive from Grand Forks to Greenwood in Southern British Columbia, Canada. We are Initially heading west on the paved Highway 3, and just a few kilometres past Grand Forks, we are leaving the pavement and turning onto a gravel road. From there on we follow the Gibbs Creek road and climb-up the mountain towards the Phoenix Mountain Ski Area. Just down the road from the Ski Area is the Phoenix Cenotaph, which is dedicated to 15 soldiers claimed in the First World War that came from the long gone mining town of Phoenix. From there on we follow the Phoenix Road for 9 kilometres and arrive in Greenwood after a drive time of 1 Hour 20 Minutes | 🛑Please Subscribe ➤ bit.ly/-STV

    This video sort of has a horror movie feel to it. Driving along a nice highway, then take a wrong turn down a narrow forest road @ 23:33 that truck in the woods with the door open. hehe
    Really nice drive.
    I actually prefer these back road drives over the highway drives.

    Enjoyed a lot this drive on secondary, mostly unpaved roads. One can feel like a part of the beautiful surrounding nature during such drives. Thanks for sharings it, greetings from a fellow creator from Germany!

    Great video. The gravel road on which you were travelling on seemed pretty deserted to me for a couple of miles. What happens if a car suddenly stalls in the middle of the road with no emergency backup? And one's car stalls in such a spot miles away from the main highway? Anyway, take care and always ensure of additional backup in case of emergency crisis.
