Look rad. What I find, just having a wide flat profile in the middle (tops?) (and a slight inward angle) helps a lot providing support and grip for your hands vs a round bar. I've got the Ritchey Road Streem II.
Forgot to add, I also realized I missed this from my road bike when I got back on my computer for autumn which has round tops, A-b testing for a little while is important ;)
There have been very similar bars. FSA K-Wings were close and there's a company in Australia who say they've been working on this exact design since the 90s. Think that's with lawyers at the moment 😬
@@GuyKesTVcould you please let me know what Australian company are you referring to? I live in NZ and I’m looking for a cheaper alternative, hoping that might be an option, thanks !
Enjoyed this review immensely. No hype, just a real world test of something new and different. I have arthritic wrists and thumbs and these do look like they may be helpful. But that price! How did you find just resting on the outer bend on the top bar behind the hoods. Comfy?
Hi! I just recently discovered this handlebars and I found very interesting. I have just one question. Do you think it would be possible to fit in a TT clip bars right next to the stem? Just to have another position in long distance rides.
I had the same question. From the installation instructions: "DO NOT install clip-on handlebar extensions on the AR handlebar as it is not compatible with handlebar extensions typically used by time trialists and triathletes."
Brilliant. Glad you enjoy these! Amazing there has been no change to drop bars in 70 years. Now something that works.

They look comfortable. Surprised no one has done this before to be honest.

Cheers, I found that position really comfy tbh as the bar has a really nice shape around the bend. As you say though the price is far from comfy 😬
Interesting option!
Very interesting from the comfort perspective but that price is really really hard to swallow
The bars in this review are 44 cm wide, just in case anybody is wondering.

Maybe using some raisers to avoid the aero bar hitting that up slop portion of the top of the handlebar.

What gloves are they?
