How to Replace the Side View Mirror on a Mercedes Benz W203 C240 C230 E320

How to replace the side view mirror assembly on a Mercedes-Benz W203, including C230, C240, C280, E320 and other models with a similar body style. Whether you need to remove the cover to replace the turn signal bulbs or the glass mirror or simply the entire assembly you'll need to remove the plastic cover first. The close-up of the clip at 1:02 was super helpful. Took me 20 minutes to remove the cover, replace the turn signal on my 2005 C240, and slide the cover back on. At first, that metal clip kept "clicking" back into place while I tried to wiggle the cover off. Try & try again = success. Thanks!

Thank you for this informative video. I am trying to help a friend repair their mirror, the housing was pulled off and I can see from your video that the securing clip was popped out of the pocket it latches into and may ever be bent. With the help of your video I will be able to get the attachment clip back in the proper location with the lip under clipped in and properly reinstall the mirror housing.
Videos like yours with good close up details really help when there is a problem and this may be the first time you have attempted a repair such as this.

Not really. This design makes it easier to steal because the screws are on the outside of the car and are easily accessible.
