Actually, he's not behind the stage, he's genuinely just the top half of the actual Michael Rosen, that's what makes YTP Michael Rosen special
This is an interesting take, it makes the running parts look even more goofy because Michael's just this IRL giant dude who's just playing along with .EXE's antics before eating the plum and powering up to deal with him.
Michael can canocally escape from sonic.exe game whenever he wants, he just stayed there bc he wanted to entertain himself a bit.
