Appreciate you stopping the video & explaining what happened. I probably would have missed out a lot had you not pointed it out clearly. Love your content & presentation keep up the good work. More blessings to you and your team. ❤ to the camera man/woman for capturing the crucial moments
What about your dog? You hurt him too with that noise. A simple, calm but dominant body posture directed towards the aggressive dog is enough. Dogs feel your energy. you can talk to them with body language. A simple Pshhhhh sound would have the same effect, if done with the same body language. The second dog was insecure. The third dog was curious, wanted to sniff your dogs behind. You could give up your strict no contact rule and let your dog socialize every now and then. You seem a little tense in your dog contacts. I think you can relax. Yes a pack of 5 to 10 straydogs can look dangerous. But they normally understand that this dog has a human owner, and don't feel that they have to defend their territory.
No, he isn't hurt by the noise. He's familiar with the alarm by now to mean "alert time". I doubt if you've ever encountered really aggressive dogs. Good luck on your strategy to ward them off.
