Just Drinking Rum reviews are for the every day rum drinker. We are just two guys who love trying new rums and want to share our tastes with the world. As we take a look at the looks smells and tastes of each rum, we do so as if we are drinking it in our own backyard. The mixed drink portion of the review is done with only a single soda mixer (Pepsi- by Robert & Coke- by Roger) to ensure the value of our review is equal for all reviews. (Some exceptions will apply for certain rums)

This is amazing. Gold standard for how you do flavored rum. Not overly sweetened garbage.

Got a bottle of this at the duty free and I gotta say I hate it. It's harsh on the nose and in your mouth, the pineapple is hardly there. I'm almost wondering if it's the same rum as being reviewed here. It reminds me of cognac in all the wrong ways. Gonna try to find a way to make use of it, but in simple cocktails I've found it hard to cover up the aspects that I don't like.
Hey guys i just picked up a few Plantation bottles and noticed you guys go from neat to mixed and not give the rum the over ice treatment... Just saying might need to give it a shot. especially with those more viscous rums👍
Yes thanks for taking the time to comment! We definitely think some ice does wonders for sipping on rums that might be a little bold or seem over powering for your palate.. We only try the 2 different ways to drink it because we need to still be able to walk straight when we are done🤣 sometimes we make more than 1 video at a time so it can get dangerous! We always enjoy responsibly 😀 Cheers🥃

Getting a bottle of this for a bowl of Halloween punch. I won't be able to try it because I work the night of the party but I can at least make sure they're drinking good.

$29.99 here in Atlanta. Just bought a bottle of it, along with a 1L bottle of OFTD, also only $29.99! The bottle of Foursquare Detente I got; however, was a bit more.
Great prices! Those are so worth it and at that price you have a great value! Foursquare can be a little more pricey but to be fair we haven't had a Foursquare rum we haven't liked yet😎

Does it have a smokey finish? You guys are funny but you should consider adding a fun saucy woman to your mix.

Well, I've had Belvedere vodka, and it's definitely a top shelf variety like Hanger One or Grey Goose.
Belvedere is by far my favorite vodka that I've had
