I’ve done donuts in my open diff E90! It’s not hard but maintaining the slide is. Great deal of fun, but id never ever put a welded diff in a car, makes it a difficult daily driver. Always go LSD if you can afford it
As some one who owns the same car, I wouldn’t recommend it. The car will shift automatically once it gets to around 7rpm which makes it hard to drift seriously and kills the transmission, if I were you I would keep that as your daily since it’s super reliable and get something manual that you can trash. The autos in the e90s are great for speed but awful for serious drifting
@@damansnfudajn9034 you can do it but drifting a lsd or welded was easier, I’ve drifted mine too but I have to force the car sideways, it doesn’t “slide”
How has the diff held up over time? Thinking bout doing this to my 3.46 manual e90
Wait so I have the same coler same molde so sick but does these mean only one side really burns out while the other doesn’t ?
No welded means equal rotation

it doesn’t make it a difficult daily😂. annoying yes because of the chirps but that’s it
@@mudshotit affects your turning radius and makes the tires wear out faster too! dont forget that.

Keep it in low gear
More practice and you will do donuts
