Interesting... I initially used 5 DS64s to operate 19 Kato turnouts on my n scale layout (also controlled with an ECoS 50210). Eventually all but one unit failed. First one circuit, then the other 3. I replaced 3 of them with units purchased on eBay and those worked...for a while. Digitrax could not explain the problem, no amount of reprogramming helped. Many others seemed to have the same failure issue, many switching to the DS74. I went a different route and switched to the DCC Concepts ADS-?sx hardware. Easier to program, rock solid so far. I hope you have better luck than I had with your 64s.

Hey @freescopesdad. Dang Ron, sorry to hear about the failed DS64's. Question, did you use a separate power supply on the DS64? I wounder if there was power feed back from the switch motor?
I use to have a couple of switch's from DCC Concept, but then I switched over to the Smail switch machine do to the lack of availability were I live! Then there was some conflict in communication between the NCE DCC chip in the Smail switch machine with the ECoS 50210, and some function in the ECoS didn't work, I did a video on that. So I switched again but this time I went with the DS64 and things worked. which is always great!!! LOL, It has been a journey!!!! Thanks for watching and commenting. It means a lot to us.
As I have for the most part got the layout to powered and working, We'll be working on landscaping. I still want to continue a tech Tuesday segment, and I have a couple of things that I can show about the ECoS. So stay tuned for those.

Hello, I am wanting to connect rc servo motors to the ds64 that have 3 wires, could you tell me how I should connect them?
Thank you very much and very interesting video!

@@giulianozitelli3585 No clue, are you talking about a non-model railroad application? My only experience is with Kato n scale #6 turnouts. As a follow-up to my original post, the DCC concepts have been and continue to be solid.
