Operation Vigilant Guard Hurricane Exercise, Sapelo Island

Game Wardens from Region VI and VII participating in the Georgia National Guard Hurricane Exercise. This purpose of this part of the statewide exercise that involved multiple state and local agencies, as well as multiple private partners, was to simulate the movement of Game Wardens and their equipment to one of Georgia's barrier islands in the event of a hurricane cutting off access. Two Guard CH47's were used to complete this exercise.
