OH, Don't worry, the people discussing Fringe Accelerationist views are actually referencing a Hearts of Iron 4 mod called Red Flood where nobody wins WW1. The United States can potentially collapse into a warlord era and one of the accelerationist factions can be led by the man who mentored L. Ron Hubbard, and this song was used as the unification theme.

Agreed. I think they lucked out in that Hubbard actually knew about unity of gain and seems to have set up a balanced set of inputs and largely stayed out of the way.
While audio quality can be improved, for a band to be "remastering" is usually more about ownership of recordings and to reclaim the music to move past any incumberances. Like if RCA owned this and wasn't giving them a fair shake, they'd remaster (create something very like but unique to itself) independantly or with another publisher under a more favorable deal.
2:06 is where Ronny would jump from side stage and and dazzle his flock with a pre-planned dance that mixed the style of tap and the Jitterbug. Then he immediately left stage and collapsed down at the mixing board with a slight smile appearing as he soaked up the claps and yelps from the audience. By 2:47 he appeared exactly as pictured here. Calm, cool, collected. The two people to the right of him, having seen this kind of show stealing showmanship before, are over it, but not enough to be labeled "suppressive persons." But boy are those looks pushing it.

"Chicago with a seasoning of John Coltrane and Miles Davis....." an attempt at contemporary jazz at that time. Reminiscent of Chicago circa 1974 like our walk in the park. You see Ron Hubbard with his Apollo Stars - for the Flagship Apollo on mission of goodwill in Mediterranean and Atlantic Port of Calls.... you can see the Nakamichi Cassette Deck (for recording the sessions to the left of the keyboard) - I sent him from New York! Cassettes were the latest Hi-Tech innovation at that time....
I actually can’t describe how good of a song this is. The only way I’ve managed to describe it is that it feels like a steam train ripping through the rings of Saturn
This would have convinced me to join ngl. Like this is a banger. The banger of your mom that is lul. Thank you for doing this like I did your mom. Love you step son
Do you think there are enough instruments? Maybe another couple of drummers, another horn section (or two!) might flesh out the rather lean sound of this incredibly tight band.
If you thought that this was hot you should have seen them all perform together at the Fort Harrison after the boatswain's party Christmas of 1975....🔥😱🔥
anyone who thinks playing notes correctly ,but played to sound in correctly isn't extremely difficult don't know both in bout no true jazz.that shit is quite hard
Amazing, bold, riveting and clearly ahead of its time. Such a beautiful upbeat melody that will spring anyone out of bed. And to think mr.H tried to save the likes of Micheal Jackson and Elvis Presley Presley thier demise into drug addiction. Imagine the collaborations that could've happened between the 3 of them! LRH FOR EVER!
...some instruments are on the left channel and most of the others are on the right channel. Jesus christ. I mean--I'm enjoying this at least, but it's not the best of the best. I've listened to better jazz. It was better when I didn't know that L. Ron Hubbard produced it. I wish it was Quincy Jones, but he's not a scientologist is he?
This really is bad. And I don't mean it in a good way. It's just bad. The saxophonist on the record, Neil Sarfati, recently wrote, "It was a terrible album."
Good god, this sounds like a high school marching band. A not particularly good one. It's AWFUL. The guitar player is HORRIFIC. The arrangement is PATHETIC. The recording is UNLISTENABLE. But it figures: Scientology. Especially if Elron had his fingers in it . . .

L Ron was as weird as they came and his church is a scam but this music is certainly worth sharing. It has a chaotic brilliance to it.

NO no no no no...the sheer rawness of the production and the 'vintage funk' that is 1974 is what makes it great imo.
