Rain is very good. Rain assist for the growth of Crops for food
Matoke/matokee, is fufu in my country. The woman knows English very well that she knows the word gizzard.
When it comes to the rain is my concern when so much is done outdoors- cooking, laundry, washing up, bathing, using the toilet and when water has to be fetched from a distance and taken back home.
It is not a life into which I could bring children. Let me use my strength to better my surroundings first, acquire a reliable income. Let me link up with other adults to discuss ideas. Build a shelter together to be each other's strength while we find ways to live, not to survive. 'Two heads are better than one.' 'There is strength in numbers.'

Similar climate with my place because I also live in subtropical region
In my couture 🇿🇲 the head of the house is saved a gizzard. But in the West anyone can eat the Gizzards.
I can see Cassava could you ask Nalonga to prepare cassava leaves they are so delicious.
I know some Liberians that Love to eat Cassava Leaves but the Nigerians & Ghanaians I know don't eat Cassava Leaves, they fed them to the goats but ate cassava fufu.
